Zentral gelegen in der Mitte von Sachsen ist es nicht weit nach Dresden, Leipzig oder Chemnitz. Ebenso einen Besuch wert ist der nahe gelegene „Karls Erdbeerhof“ in Döbeln. Zurück von diesen Ausflügen kann man in der Hängematte oder den großzügigen Garten entspannen. Im Sommer können sie Kultur am See genießen.
