Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Missillac

We had a wonderful stay at Diane's and Philippe's place. It is plenty spacious and comfortable, private, and in a very serene location. The kitchen was fully and thoroughly equipped for cooking all of our meals. We appreciated the bright sleeping loft and large, well appointed bathroom, and sitting outside in the sun on the days the weather allowed. Diane's communication and directions were great, although she was abroad, so we didn't get to meet her during our stay. I have no doubt she would have been as friendly as Philippe, who generously invited us (twice!) to come and enjoy an evening of roaring fire, drinks, and conversation in the bar they have outfitted in an amazing, high-ceilinged restored space with enormous stone fireplace! The bar is a hidden surprise in a historic property they have painstakingly restored from a ruin. Even the neighbors were lovely! Thank you both for creating such a characteristic space in which to host people so warmly and openly.

We had a great time. The place was very clean, spacious and perfectly equipped, nothing was missing. Sophie had prepared the house very well for our arrival, which made us feel comfortable from the first minutes. We highly recommend this rental and would be happy to come back!

We spent two beautiful weeks at Jo's house. The highlight is the conservatory with the magnificent view of the sea. When it's windy, you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility on the garden terrace.

What can I say! Stephanie & Phillipes lodge is just perfect, well situated just 2 mins walk from the town centre and great restaurants. The lodge is very clean and has everything you would want. The pool is fabulous and cleaned and prepared every day by Phillipe. Stephanie and Phillipe are the perfect hosts, very responsive and very friendly. We cannot get over how much we enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend this place enough. It is perfect

The cottage is really nice! We had a great 4-day stay in the area following a recommendation, and it was a very nice discovery. The accommodation is located in a charming and very quiet village, ideal for recharging your batteries. The house is decorated with a lot of taste, everything is thought out carefully. Coralie is super nice and very responsive. We would highly recommend!

Very nice apartment, very comfortable, beautiful view of the port, matches the photos. Small downside, access via the stairs is steep and narrow. check-in instructions not given by Airbnb or late, therefore difficult to find the garage. Thanks to Virginie for being responsive.

An absolutely stunning classically, well thought out, French property! The house was stunning and attention to detail was second to none! We loved it here, the house is fully equipped and has gorgeous little touches. The host is extremely responsive on messages and via telephone, and if travelling from UK, which we were his English is fantastic. Jean-Christophe sent plenty of information to us before our arrival and made some recommendations too! Be careful when arriving at property if you are driving as if you take the wrong turning (the entrance to the place is in the front square) you have a long 10 minute drive to get all the way back around the one way system again! We did have to wait quite a while for the lady who met us at the property however it wasn’t a big issue, she was great and very helpful too! Absolutely recommend this place. Thanks Jean-Christophe

Isabelle is very friendly and welcoming. She gave me some great tips for restaurants and hiking. The apartment was very clean and perfectly equipped. Ideal place to discover Pornic and the region. I highly recommend it!

We had a pleasant stay with the family . Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and everything was done to make us feel at home. The host was very kind and always available to answer any questions we had or advise us on the surroundings. The accommodation was impeccable, clean, comfortable and very well-equipped – exactly as described in the listing!👍👍 we would definitely recommend this place and we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a lovely stay at the house, which is bright and pleasant to live in. I will note one small negative point, the cleanliness was there, but some small things in my opinion to review (lack of mattress covers, many ants in several places, sofas not in very good condition)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, chic house. The pool area and spa and outdoor seating are fabulous and we spent many hours chilling here. Also the musical instruments and vinyl collection made this a house with such a laid back and happy vibe. Jean Luc and Ingrid were amazing hosts. They helped us to book many outings and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food upon our arrival was outstanding, above and beyond expectation. The location is superb. Many lovely beaches, pretty towns, wonderful shops and restaurants. Merci beaucoups!

Great family weekend (4 teenagers and 2 kids and 7 adults) everything was as advertised by the owner! Comfortable villa for 13 people. Activities on site for everyone and very pleasant. Comfort 5 bedrooms, large living room. Easy and responsive contact with the owner. Lots of info about outings around but in 2 days we mostly enjoyed it on site!

What a beautiful home! Anne was very friendly & flexible with check in & responsive to our questions throughout our stay. We were 2 families with 4 children & the house was fantastic! It is in an ideal location for relaxing away from it all, whilst also being on the edge of a city with plenty of culture & restaurants at your fingertips. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk away, which was perfect for us as we ate many meals at home. The pool was warm, very clean & safe for children with a good design using stepped access. The house opens up to create a seamless transition from inside to outside-this was perfect for cooking/eating/playing in the pool and keeping an eye on everyone. The showers were hot and powerful and the blackout shutters were a dream for giving the children a long sleep!! The kitchen is well equipped and there is both washing machine & dryer. There is a lovely patisserie in Sautron that we walked to through the woods. What a relaxing stay we had-thanks Anne et Fabrice!

The house and its exterior are beautiful, and the location is perfect with a beautiful beach just a few meters away! Well-equipped accommodation, where everything invites rest and relaxation in the beautiful garden. Perfect for a beautiful weekend in the sun with friends.
