Such a cute place with so much charm! It had everything we needed and was such a good location close to many restaurants, shops and a great park down the road. We hope to come back to visit!

Hands down one of the best hosts I have ever had! Maxwell was super helpful during our stay. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting that feeling of a home away from home :)

Very nicely decorated place with many thoughtful arrangements. Close to several great local coffee shops, breakfast diners and traditional bars!

Great location, comfy bed, interesting building, great view. Felt safe and was quiet. Note that there is not currently a walkable grocery store but you can get the train to one or use ride share.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Virginia! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient and made for a great home base while we were in town for a wedding. The host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note: there’s a single window A/C unit in the main living area, so the bedrooms can get a bit warm, especially during hotter days. There are two fans to help circulate air. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this spot!

We found Andy's place to be really nice. The place was not clean when we arrived at 4pm (check-in was at 3pm)however it seemed to a honest mistake with the cleaner forgetting and was remedied that evening. Andy and his brother were responsive immediately to our concerns. Overall, the place is conveniently located, easy to street park, nicely furnished, comfortable and stocked with basics the bathroom/kitchen such as soap, coffee/tea etc. I would recommend it!

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

What a treasure I discovered in the woods of Pine City, MN. I had just come from a forest retreat at Grindstone lake and hoped for a few more days to linger in the forest. No problems with insects, a beautiful private fire-pit within view of a tiny pond. The birds and frogs sang me to sleep. Deborah was so informative of how to thrive in this slightly primitive setting conserving water and energy. It really felt luxurious to me!! Healthy items were provided for my breakfast. Small appliances and a propane grill made my meal prep a breeze. I hope you get a chance to embrace the peace provided by this tiny space in the big woods!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in this private retreat. Let’s get the minor negative things out of the way since that’s probably why you’re reading this. The fridge water/ice maker were not hooked up, so bring your own ice. The wood for the sauna and fire pit had a bit of moisture in it still which made it difficult to get a good fire going. We did find a deer tick on one of the kids after being in the yard, but that’s going to be anywhere in the area this time of year. But really, that’s it. Now, for the reasons to rent this place… The game room was a hit with our kids (ages 4-10) and the Ping Pong tournament at the end was memorable. Watching them play old games on the arcade that I grew up with was also a treat. The entire place was spotless. The layout and interior design were out of a magazine. The fire pit was huge, yard was nice and recently mowed. Sauna was very neat! Thanks Mark and Jamie!

I stayed here with family for a North Shore getaway. This place was gorgeous, spacious, private, and quiet! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and ample shared spaces for cooking, watching movies, and relaxing together. We loved the proximity to Grand Marais and all the great North Shore hiking spots. The pizza oven was a blast to try out and I used the provided telescope to look at the beautiful full moon. If you’re looking for a private spot with family or friends to enjoy views of Lake Superior, look no further! We can’t wait to come back.

This place was fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for on our getaway trip. Quiet location to relax and enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. Quick trip to town for anything. Will definitely be back!!

Our family of four had a great 4 night stay (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 pre-teen). The house was clean and well cared for and had great natural light, even in the basement. The beds were very comfortable and with 5 rooms to choose from- all with their own tvs, everyone had what they needed. There were several common areas for us to spend time together and not feel cramped. We did eat out most days, but the kitchen was well stocked and met our needs. The provided tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, garbage bags and plenty of towels were appreciated. The neighborhood was very quiet so we were able to rest when we spent time at the house in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect for what we planned (ValleyFair- 20 minute drive; Sustainable Safari- 5 min; Mall of America- 15 min). We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Bonnie and Joe were very responsive to questions I asked before and during our stay. We would stay here again!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Jenna’s place. The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for our quick stay. We will definitely be returning!

This is our second year staying here. It has been a great stay both times!

Amazing host, beautiful and peaceful location. The big fish were not biting when we were there but we caught plenty of sunnies and enjoyed the beautiful river scenery. Watching the baby geese and ducks as well as enjoyed the sunsets each night. A very gorgeous home that felt like we were at home. Amazing location close to town still to get some amazing food at the local restaurants and some great coffee at the local coffee shop. 100% will be visiting again. Best place for our first air BNB. Celebrated our 20 yr anniversary in a peaceful and beautiful way. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

I had such a wonderful time with my wife and kids. This will be something we remember for years to come! The restaurant inside the complex, Moguls, was outstanding! Very happily surprised to have that so accessible for the family.

We really enjoyed our stay in late March. Great views of Lake Pepin and the sunrise over the bluffs. Saw a number of bald eagles soaring past on the waterline. The unit is in great shape -- very new, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-appointed. The building seemed mostly empty and Lake City was very quiet -- much busier during the summer I imagine! Note that there is a busy road between the unit and the lake/river. Easy to cross and the noise was not too bad, just something to be aware of, especially if you're expecting peace and quiet while sitting out on the balcony. Hiking in nearby Frontenac State Park was fantastic! The National Eagle Center to the south is worth a visit too. Also, try the Nelson Creamery on the Wisconsin side! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here.

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

First class all around. I have stayed here two times for fishing trips. The instructions and rules are very-simple. Doyle very easy to get a hold of for any of our needs.

We were looking for a place to stay as a family of 4 visiting the city and exploring local parks. Everything we explored was well within 20 minutes of this place. Our two boys (5 and 3) had a blast. This space is very accommodating for families. There were kids toys and books as well as outdoor toys/balls for our boys to play with. Grown ups enjoyed sitting on the deck after the kids went to bed soaking up the nature scenery. Jeanne’s cat Benny would greet us outside as we came and went. He certainly was a highlight of our trip and was so sweet. We will definitely be back!
