Vacation rentals with beach access in Minnesota

This home is located in a beautiful area, close to everything. We loved the historic nature of the home. Everything was clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable. Nancy greeted us when we walked in and was very friendly and accommodating! Definitely would stay here again!

The peaceful and beautiful location of this apartment, walkable to Harriet Lake, can’t be overstated. The unit itself is on the top floor of a charming older building, in a well-kept neighborhood graced with towering trees. The unit itself had everything I and my two adult children needed — very comfortable rooms and beds for all, a well-stocked kitchen, a bathroom where everything worked as it should (plenty of hot water), and of course, that gorgeous outdoor deck right off the living room, where we spent so much of our time. We plugged in the lights at night and it was magical. The location meant we were close enough to walk down to Harriet Lake and then run the 3-mile loop around, finishing the run off with a beer or a delicious ice cream at the Bread and Pickle, near the outdoor amphitheater where, if the stars align, you can find someone on stage singing about love, grief, and redemption. So many great restaurants all around. Khâluna was fantastic — don’t think, just go!

We had a great stay from start to finish. Everything was clean and the instructions were perfect on how to get in and out. It was very cozy and I have never slept that good in my life. It is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at James and Jessica’s place in Two Harbors! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore. The space was super clean, tastefully decorated, and everything worked flawlessly. James and Jessica were fantastic hosts—very communicative from the time we booked. They sent helpful info ahead of our arrival, including a map of local construction and detours, and quickly responded when we had questions. Overall, a smooth, comfortable, five-star experience. We’d absolutely love to stay here again!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

This was our first stay in this part of Duluth. While it was a bit of a drive to some parts of the city, the quality, price, & privacy of this studio apartment was well worth it. The road outside is fairly well traveled during the day but the neighborhood felt very safe & at night, it was quiet with virtually no traffic noises. There is a gas station across the street & a grocery store nearby. We also discovered Lester Park nearby right before we left town. Next time we’d like to walk there. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, & spacious. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it is nice & as shown. The bathroom was lovely & the fixtures/amenities are very nice. The laundry room was also helpful in our short stay. I would give the king mattress 7.5/10 (& I’m particular about mattresses :). The only unusual thing was that the bed & the couch are very low to the ground. But that didn’t pose issues for us. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to come back.

Great spot in Duluth! Unique in its location on the beach yet close to everything to do - great food/drink options. Apartment is private and very comfortable - would recommend!

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

We had a great stay in Park Rapids celebrating a family wedding in town. Our only issue was finding the place — the address needs to be corrected for Google maps to take you to the right place. Easily fixed. Other than that, we had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Thank you!

We loved our time at Melissa's "Great Patio" in Detroit Lakes. The property is right on the lake (North Shore). It had everything you'd want for a fun and relaxing experience. Our family loved the fire pit and hot tub on the HUGE patio overlooking the lake. We made great use of the pontoon. We enjoyed ping pong, air hockey, foosball and arcade-style mini basketball in the game room (in the garage). When the weather decided to storm, we watched movies and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen or played board games. To complete our experience, we rented a WaveRunner from J&K Marine. The place is less than 5 minutes away from several restaurants, and if you forgot to bring something along, a short trip to Walmart or Menards will have you fixed up in a hurry. Melissa was an awesome host and made us feel very welcome before we even arrived. Checkin was easy with the smart locks, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Everything was clean. We lacked nothing. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The views are so stunning and we didn’t want to leave! We brought our own paddle board but they did provide an additional kayak and 2 paddle boards which we absolutely loved and used every single day. One thing to note is that the water access has lots of sharp shells so definitely pack some water shoes to protect your feet! Everything about this Airbnb was perfect and we will definitely be back, hopefully very soon!!

My running club and I came to Two Harbors to run Grandma’s marathon - and Blackbeach was only going to be the housing. Instead it ended up being the highlight. The location is idyllic with a private beach and stunning views of Lake Superior. Every morning, we woke up to waves crashing. In the evenings, we hunkered down by the beach with a warm fire. Adam and team was extremely responsive, let us know all the expectations ahead of time, and answered all our questions. Additionally, it was clear that Adam took so much pride in orchestrating such a calming and delightful oasis. Every detail was charming and well thought out. Would highly highly recommend staying at Blackbeach. Thank you Adam and team!

This was our first Airbnb and it did not disappoint! The cabin was even better than the pictures! In fact, it was so nice we chose to eat there for all our meals instead of go out! I didn’t want to leave. Nice WiFi connection and was able to remote in to work when needed. Hot tub was clean and modern. Kids were able to swim and try fishing off the dock. Many of the items in the “cabin” were even better than what I have at home. Thank you for a great experience. 😊

We are so thankful we booked The Nordic for our family getaway and can’t recommend it enough! It is located on a beautiful property surrounded by trees on a peaceful lake. It definitely had the secluded cabin feel we were looking for while also being only minutes from Nisswa, a cute little lake town for shopping, food, etc.! The home itself was beautiful, extremely clean, and styled so nicely! The Nordic checks all the boxes and more when it comes to thoughtful touches and amenities. We had the best time playing in the sand lakeside, paddle boarding, hot tubbing, having bonfires, sitting out on the patio, and utilizing the boat dock for our rental pontoon. The large kitchen and open concept made for a great atmosphere for cooking and hanging out. Tatum was super friendly and responsive prior to and throughout our stay for any questions we had! We definitely hope to stay again!

The house, location, and amenities available are absofreakinlutely magical. I will stay again if I'm ever in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the condo. We enjoyed the steps that go down to the rocks by the lake. Very dog friendly condo. Fire pit in the backyard overlooking the lake was a hit.

We felt so welcome and at home for our week stay. Beautiful views and the pool/hot tub/sauna/game room is always great for our family! We had an amazing time and will be back!

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect for walking anywhere in Grand Marais and a comfortable place to rest and recharge after hiking. The view of the harbor is beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. The unit is sunny and bright we hardly needed to use any lights until the sun went down. In fact the unit has so much natural light you may want to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. Thank you Linda for providing such a perfect spot. We hope to return someday soon.

Abby and Zach were excellent hosts! She provided thorough information on the check in as well as little things to know about the space. I appreciated the mid-stay "I hope all is going well" communication, and it was aj added bonus to meet them up in the common area while we were there - super nice and helpful folks. Also? This may be one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in while traveling! Thanks again for sharing a fantastic space in a beautiful location with us.

Located in the heart of downtown Grand Marais, staying here put us in the middle of the action of my favorite small northern town. Music from the bar is definitely audible in the apartment. The dining room has huge windows overlooking the harbor off lake Superior and is a great place to hang out any time of the day or night - we watched the full Strawberry moon rise. Cassidy responds quickly and is very helpful. A great spot to experience Grand Marais!

I was in need of a solo staycation away from my home for a few weeks, and Miranda's place fit the bill perfectly. It was very inviting and comfortable. I felt right at home. Miranda definitely doesn't skip a beat when it comes down to providing of all the little things one might need but doesn't think of. Communication with her was a breeze and considering I was there for an extended stay, she made sure to check in with me to ask if I needed a linen change or restock on anything, and sent her cleaning lady over to vacuum. If I ever need another staycation or need to recommend an Airbnb to friends or family, I will definitely be sending them to Miranda's place!

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Jill’s place. It was very nice and as described. Cozy and comfy, with a great view.
