We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Our stay in this house was really fantastic! The house itself was amazing and offered incredible tranquility. The hostess is one of the friendliest people we have ever met. Upon arrival we could easily park our car in the driveway of the hostess's house. She was so thoughtful in helping us get our luggage to the vacation house. To get to the house, you walk through a beautiful vineyard. This walk is an experience in itself, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. Once we arrived at the cottage, we were treated to an amazing view of the vineyard. The house itself is cozy and comfortably furnished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a swimming pool within walking distance of the house, located on a hill. The pool is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it was wonderful to spend time there with the family. All in all, this house was really a highlight of our first holiday in Portugal. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay!

The super nice complex is an oasis in the somewhat bustling environment of the city of Vila Real. Ins and their people are very friendly and extremely nice without being intrusive. Every morning fresh bread is brought to the house, great service, also the daily cleaning of the bungalow is very pleasant. The garden areas are very well maintained, the pool is cleaned daily, the water is super clear and refreshing. Our bungalow was more spacious than it looked like in the pictures and wonderfully cool due to the thick granite walls even at 33 degrees outside temperature. The excursion tips are lovingly drawn and well thought through. All in all, four of us had a wonderful week at Ines. Thank you!

This place ought to be officially recognized as a national treasure! The house and grounds are full of historic charm and the scenery is spectacular. The farm fresh breakfast was truly impressive and the hospitality was top notch. We stayed for two nights but would have been very happy to have stayed for an entire week if our schedule had allowed for it. Many thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful guest house and for the warm welcome and great sightseeing tips. It was the highlight of our trip from Canada.

There are few words to describe the peacefulness and tranquility of the Douro region in general. however, the time we spent in this lovely, comfortable, and welcoming home magnified our enjoyment of the area multiple times. Anabela was such a wonderful host, even providing us with a loaf of bread on the front porch from the local Baker the morning after we arrived. It was a wonderful home, it felt like we'd lived there our entire lives. I really wish I could say more, but I just can't find the words. To summarize, I would recommend this place to anybody, at any time, but I can't help wishing a little bit that my review wouldn't help attract more renters, because in my selfishness, I'd love for this place to always be available to me. 10 stars.

The accommodation is exactly what it advertises. A quiet place to relax and spend a few days in nature. Liliana is a very friendly host who welcomed us on time and with a gift. To get to restaurants or shopping, a car is a must, but the distance is not too much. Liliana gave us directions on it. This is an old house renovated so you will find that some furniture is old and other modern but all functional. The cleanliness was excellent. I only tried one bed and it was so comfortable. The pool and nature do the rest.

The watermill house is beautifully situated and offers everything you need to enjoy nature. It is cosily furnished, has good beds, a nice bathroom and kitchen. Francisca is always fast and clear in her communication. We enjoyed Henrique's cooking skills very much and his good choice for delicious wine. The breakfast, delivered at the front door, with delicious fresh bread, is a great start of the day. This place is highly recommended.

Kind people, simple, hard to find nowadays. Everything is great and impeccable from reception to departure. Green space, fresh air, vineyards, swimming pool. All fantastic. Definitely repeating.

We love it! Very good to relax in the jacuzzi, like for a walk. We were received by D. Luísa, who was always concerned about the stay. In the future we will come back! Recommend!

We rented the space to be able to work in peace with the management team in Portugal, and still have plenty of space to retreat individually - if desired. It was perfect. The location, the huge space, the facilities, the communication with Rita, the reception, the giant big table, the well-equipped kitchen. Nothing but praise! We'll definitely be back!

The house is beautiful and very spacious, has many activities such as board games and cards, perfect for playing with the family especially if you have children, for having no neighbors and being situated in a very beautiful and quiet place is great for relaxing and enjoying nature

Had an amazing time at the lemon tree farm. Was very spontaneously looking for a peaceful weekend in the countryside and got exactly that. Surrounded by the beautiful smell of lemons and with super cute ponies and horses as my neighbors. Jorge was an amazing host and made everything possible even though my stay was super short notice. Would definitely visit again.

Carolina was a great host. We received a very warm welcome and we were very happy with the house and the amenities.

It was the second time we chose this place and it was excellent! We felt right at home! Enjoy so much nature and animals, calm and comfort! It is undoubtedly a very good place to rest and for good times alone or with family! We'll definitely be back! And Susana is very friendly and helpful! We really liked it!

Phenomenal space and very friendly hosts. It was a pity we did not have access to the pool, but it was a small gap that did not affect the experience at all. At the check in only failed not to be able to establish immediate contact, but they called after a while which also did not cause embarrassment. Beautiful and very cozy view. I will certainly return

We stayed with Annette and her husband's in their magnificent apartment for 4 days. The apartment is located with a great view of the area. A lovely terrace and another small area in front of the apartment where you can enjoy the view. The apartment is on two floors with everything you need. Well appointed and well-equipped kitchen. Parking right in front of the place. High quality. Annette is easy to get in touch with and helpful and very friendly.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage located in the countryside in a relaxing place! José and Aurora were very attentive: tips, fruit and apple juice from the farm, thank you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, rivers for swimming a few minutes away, Amarante and Guimarães 45 minutes away, Porto 1h15.

Very beautiful farmhouse with beautiful amenities!!! Plenty of spaces and each bedroom has its own large and comfortable bathroom and common room. Great for family or friends get together

Everything was perfect!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

Cannot say enough about this place, its everything it says and lots more. The ladies that service the property along with preparing breakfasts were simply awesome. Aurora's chocolate cake was a hit, and we had it for dessert and breakfast! The location and views are postcard perfect and that comes with some nervous driving to get there, but once you know the quirks really not that bad, just be careful. Highly recommending this to friends that are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world.

Absolutely beautiful venue!! There are no words. Communication beforehand was fab. Antonio was really helpful and booked us a sunrise yoga session for the day we left. He was responsive to questions & made sure everything was organised for us so that we could have the best time! Maria did the most amazing breakfast for us everyday. She even made sure I had a special gluten free basket of goodies! The venue was clean & had everything we needed. It wasn’t the greatest weather but Maria came in & put the log fire on for us, which was sooo cosy! Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back for work. Thank you so much for making my friend’s celebratory weekend the BEST!!

5-star stay. Modern, comfortable and pleasant house, with a very well-kept outdoor space, with swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and the relaxing sound of running water and the sound of birds. Ana and Paulo were very helpful.
