Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

1 Bedroom Shed in Country Perfect for Crane Season

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Looking out on the Kearney County courthouse. Located right next to the Minden Opera House and front row windows to see the Light of the World Pageant at Christmas time. Within walking distance of Pioneer Village. America's time capsule features 50000+ historic items. Only a short drive if you're wanting to view the Sandhill Cranes during their migration. There are 27 stairs to climb so you also get a work out.

One of a kind "beach vacation" in central Nebraska! A Caribbean ambience has been quasi recreated in this 1,600 sq. foot space NW of Kearney. The property sits amidst the Nebraska prairie with incredible views of the sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. It's only 10 minutes and all paved roads to Kearney's north shopping district, to the University, and both hospitals. Stay in a cabin on a homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about 10-minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings. There is a second home on the property that is also available and listed on Airbnb. The place can and has easily fit numerous camping arrangements on the 13 acre plot. Pets are welcome, and folks should know there are three barn cats on the property.
