Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Charles and Sylvie's apartment is a small haven of peace where you can feel good. The environment is quiet and peaceful. We were hosted very well by Charles and Sylvie, who were very kind, giving very good advice and accommodating. We recommend the accommodation to discover this beautiful island of Santa Antao.

Evaristo personally welcomed us to his beautiful and spacious beach house. From the upper floor we had wonderful views of the beach, the sea and Santo Antão from both the room and the outdoor kitchen/lounge. Within walking distance there are a few mini-mercados where the essentials are available. Except for a few day guests at the beach and restaurant Chez Zoe, there are hardly any tourists. The locals are kind and authentic. The connection with Aluguers to Mindelo works great (frequent connections) and is a great experience every time. Baia das Gatas can also be reached with a little luck and negotiation skills with Aluguers. Evaristo also gave us very good contacts via which we could organize excursions for a boat tour or for snorkeling directly from Salamanca.

We stayed with Paulo and his wife in their house organized to host several people. Paulo was super reactive, he came to pick us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the city. The day we wanted to leave Mindelo, there was no minibus running so he also dropped us in the village we were staying next. In short he is really nice, helpful and very resourceful when it comes to local adresses!! His place is nice, simple and comfortable. The terrace is super cool and gives you a nice view over Mindelo! It’s 10min walk away from the city center and 30min from the beach where you can swim. Thank you so much for everything Paulo!

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

We had a great time at this place! Warm welcome, beautiful and peaceful environment, nearby beach, comfortable accommodation with a beautiful terrace on which it was very nice to have the breakfasts that were brought to us every morning (be sure to specify this option beforehand with the host)... Paradise!! Two small points of attention, however, if you plan to stay: - Without a car, access is probably difficult because, as mentioned in other reviews, the listing is at the end of a long sandy/stone path and outside downtown Porto Novo - Don't rely too much on WiFi which is quite random 😅😉 Still, we recommend without so much as a second thought!! Very spacious accommodation, fairly well-equipped although we couldn't find anything to dry the laundry. Building very exposed to the wind and poorly sealed windows. The pool is unusable out of season unless you are motivated by very cold water. Geographical location far from the center of Mindelo, but easily accessible on foot or by taxi. Very friendly and smiling reception and security staff. Comfortable but quite impersonal accommodation.

Carine is very welcoming and speaks several languages which facilitates exchanges! Very clean hotel. Small pool, with only 4 sunbeds, fortunately we were alone (or almost) staying here. Note that the water is not heated and cooler than the nearby ocean, so the temperature difference with the outside makes you feel good! But once you're in it, that's okay! No "supermarket" in the village, few restaurants, it's very peaceful except the dogs barking all night or almost all night: keep the windows closed! There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Spacious room! We went to see the Turtles with the local fishermen, it's very exotic and to do!

Anny is a warm, welcoming, responsive and very available person. She knows her island very well and she has excellent advice. The meals prepared by Isa are a pure delight. She is also very attentive, she will help you organize your trips according to the hikes you want to do. Anny's house is very well maintained, quiet and has an amazing view. We enjoyed our stay very much, largely because of the quality of the hospitality we received. We would definitely recommend this listing!

The accommodation is ideally located by the sea, very quiet, it feels good. Anny was as pleasant as could be and we can never thank her enough for her kind advice. The couple working for the house also perfectly represents Cape Verdean kindness and humility. I only have one desire, which is to go back because one night is too short to appreciate the place. nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)

Nice place very close to beach. Stenio was very helpful and helped us through some flight issues. Leo was a great tour guide through the city. Apartment is very well set up with different services you can easily access and in a great location

Ed's accommodation was perfect for our stay, spacious, comfortable and in a good location, with a little crush on the terrace with sea view 😍 Ed was also very available in writing to respond to us, and his partner Anilton helped us a lot on site with the logistics. Definitely recommend!

second stay in this apartment, always as pleasant. A short walk to Laghina beach, a little further from the center, but very doable on foot. A big thank you to Vania who welcomed us, ordered us a taxi for departure. Always present and smiling, a real joy!
