Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Mindanao

Fantastisch verblijf gehad de soundspeaker is ook zeker een aanrader. Alles was in orde en de keuken was tiptop in orde. Alleen jammer dat er geen televisie is met netflix dit zou het 11/10 maken maar dit appartement is echt gezellig het heeft een gevoel van een eigen huis. Ik kom zeker terug.

Let me start with saying that Henny and Fiona are super hosts! They helped me so much, from arranging a rental scooter, tours and everything else i needed help with. Fiona has a huge network in the area and nothing seems impossible for her to fix. Henny is a great guy and we had some good laughs together. We’re both Dutch so it was nice we could speak our native language together. It felt like staying with family instead of just another aribnb. The apartment was nice and cosy and it has a separate bedroom as well as a kitchenette. You can also play billiards downstairs and there is a bar if you want to have a drink. All in all i think this is my best airbnb experience i ever had. Thank you Henny and Fiona for all the hospitality and help! Hope to visit again soon!

The host was very easy to communicate with, very hospitable , clear with her instructions for us to have to experienced a smooth check-in. We found the place to be very clean, with great space, very quiet surrounds with easy access to shops and the famous ihaw-ihaw lane in GenSan. We highly recommend this place and yes we will stay here again.

Stayed at Jay’s place for few nights. The room is really spacious and well designed. It has big kitchen outside and you can do laundry provided with detergents. You can also make coffee in the morning for free. What made this place really good because of the full solar power system it perfectly works especially during power outage and I’m not worrying about electricity outage since it’s very common in the island. Jay is super friendly, entertaining guy. The most European Filipino I have ever met. He will always advice or help you whenever you need! Highly recommended this place!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The pool is perfectly maintained. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities anyone could ask for. The balcony jacuzzi tub is also a very nice touch. The host is very approachable and will go out of his way to ensure u have a great stay. Everything about it is A+. I will definitely stay here again 🙏🏽

Absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, and felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming, providing excellent recommendations for local spots and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect close to key attractions yet in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. The amenities exceeded expectations, from the comfy bed. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

I very recommend this place Everything was perfect The kitchen was amazing. *the cats are annoying and dont leave you alone for a second. But still book it! Best choice on the island!

We boekten voor 5 nachten maar bleven er 9. Het grote terras met goede zit- en eetplaats en de keuken zijn een meerwaarde als je wat minder mobiel bent (we waren herstellende van een ongeluk). Het een ontzettend rustige plek (dus goed geslapen) en toch vlakbij San Juan. Het is een prachtig huisje en hebt altijd het gevoel buiten en midden in de natuur te zijn.

The owner, Mr. Celso, welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of the house. He and his team were quick to assist us with everything we needed. About the house: Peaceful and private this place truly feels like home! It’s clean, fresh, and fully equipped with complete kitchenware. There’s a terrace, a grilling area, and even karaoke everything you need is here! Nearest beach: There’s a beautiful resort nearby called Cavanico. The only downside is that you have to pay an entrance fee daily to swim at their beach, which can be a bit much. Overall: 10/10 Thank you for allowing us to enjoy and stay in this lovely house. We are very happy with our experience! ❤️

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum! Die Lage direkt am Meer, die offene Küche, die Zimmer und der Pool haben uns total geflashed. In der Umgebung gibt es ein paar süße Restaurants und wenig andere Touristen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der ein tolles Strandhaus mit viel Ruhe möchte.

My family and I had the most incredible and wonderful stay with Peter and Rowena! Their house, garden, and location and most importantly their wonderful hospitality and friendship made us have the most amazing time ever! The house and garden and location is magic, right next to the most amazing snorkeling with a reef right in front of their house. The house is so beautiful with all the rooms and facilities you need and the garden and pool is incredible with views over the ocean and jungle that is a dream come true. Peter and Rowena are the most amazing hosts you can imagine. We had such an incredible time with them. We had so many wonderful conversations about life, received incredible advice and ideas about all the incredible things you can see and visit in Panglao. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alaba House Rental-Camiguin.From the moment I arrived the check in's process was seamless thanks to Ms Joyce clear instructions and prompt communication.The location was fantastic with easy access in any nearby attractions. The house itself was clean well organized and beautifully designed ..The kitchen was fully equipped wich made it easy to prepare a quick meal . This place is definitely a good spot! Near everything and also safe. Cozy and wifi is good! My fave thing: the outdoor shower so you dont need to bring the sand in once you are back from exploring the white sands of Dahican. +1000 points for Tayib, such a lovely host! Very responsive, will cater your request and very informative. For sure coming back.

This was the perfect place for me and my family (teenage kids) to stay. We are not into resorts we like to be independent and cook a bit too. Loved the balcony and pool plus the kitchen, dining and lounge area. Our family had plenty of private space. A bonus is that you can make a shortcut to the beach through the new wing of Hennan if you use their facilities such as their great beach bar which has 2 for 1 happy hour at 3pm daily. It made the holiday and also the nice restaurant and deli next door at the Tip Top. Will stay again, thanks guys great hosts.

For someone looking for a peaceful, quiet place with an awesome view of the mountains and the ocean, this place is for you! I especially love the safety of the building with unique keys to use the elevator. Will definitely consider using the place again someday!

I really enjoyed my 5 nights stay in Davao. The place is conveniently near restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores and mall. I especially like that the owner is very accommodating and that the unit is furnished with appliances, including iron and blower and the wifi connection is strong. All in all, I’d stay here again and would recommend this place to friends.

very nice condo with a good size bedroom and lounge&kitchen , exactly as it looks in the photos ,good WiFi and has a smart TV ,kitchen has all u need . The place itself has a good pool and has a little gym and it's only a short ride to the shopping malls and has fast food places and a 711 in walking distance. Great location and ideal if Its your first time in davao

I stayed for 2 months and had a wonderful experience. The place was simple but great, perfect for a comfortable and peaceful stay. There was a nice table I used for studying, and the balcony view was one of my favorite parts. It faced the amenities and the gym so I could easily check if anyone was working out before heading down myself. I could also hang my laundry on a drying rack on the balcony, which was really convenient. Overall, it was a well-thought-out space in a great location. Highly recommended!!!

Responsive host. The living and dining area is quite tight for 6 persons but the entire unit is fine. Bedrooms were spacious enough and comfy. Condiments were available and free to use. Smoking is allowed in the balcony which is convenient for smokers. We encountered issue during checkout but the host was professional and understanding throughout the ordeal. My apologies again to the host for what happened.
