Our group of five had a great stay. The location was lovely with a stunning view. The rooms were very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

숙소는 오히려 보기보다 좋습니다 깔끔하고 포근하며 여러명이 어울릴수 있는 큰 탁자와 의자도 좋았습니다 테라스도 있고 주차장도 대형SUV 두대가 대도 남을정도의 사이즈라서 편했습니다 다만 번화가까지 도보이동은 힘드니 차나 대중교통을 이용하셔야됩니다

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and generous, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the stay was the wonderful barbeque service they offered—it was delicious and added a warm, personal touch to the visit. Stayed a few nights over at this lovely apartment, granted it was a little low but beside that it was amazing! The tatami mat and futon gave a very authentic experience, and the location was perfect for cycling. A perfect getaway from the city life.

We felt privileged to stay at Aiko’s place. Not only was the property great but our interaction with Aiko was wonderful. She was kind and helpful, above and beyond any other host in our experience. Our stay was special and will be fondly remembered.

เมื่อเข้าไปในบ้าน ความรู้สึกคือชอบมากๆๆๆ เป็นหนึ่งในที่พักที่ดีที่สุดที่เคยไปพักมาใน airbnb การตกแต่งบ้านสวยงาม ห้องนอน ห้องครัว ห้องน้ำ ดีเลย ภายนอกบริเวณบ้านเงียบสงบ เหมาะแต่การพักผ่อนรู้สึกเหมือนบ้านตัวเอง

非常温馨的房子，房东也打扫得非常整洁里面是各种可爱的猫咪形象，猫猫真是太可爱啦。房东Akiko也非常好，很热心的帮我查路线。步行到熊本城不远，但是熊本城还在重建。步行就能到巴士总站，去阿苏火山和天草看海豚都能在始发站坐上大巴位置！熊本行程完美结束啦。

有幸能够入住拥有百年历史的屋子.庭院也特别美丽，Yurie特别亲切和耐心，因为堵车我们比原定说好到达民宿的时间晚了两个多小时也是很耐心的等我们并且很详细的跟我们说明每个设备怎么使用.位置也十分便利8分钟左右就能步行到熊本站去熊本城也十分便利

If you want to experience a real Japanese house, this is the best option you can choose! The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The beds super comfortable and all the amenities in good conditions! We’ve been so happy with the house that we wish we stayed more! Hiropon's place is extremely clean and the surrounding is very beautiful. The place is very suitable for a family of 5 with small children and the kitchen utensils are sufficient for us to do some light cooking. We enjoyed our stay there!

Koichi and Kanayo are the most incredible hosts we've ever encountered - they treated us as family from the moment we arrived. Truly lovely and generous people. They were proactive in helping us arrange activities and meals and taxis. The house and garden are peaceful and beautiful and layered with history (which Koichi and Kanayo happily explained to us). We had an amazing kaiseki dinner at one of their recommended restaurants. And if you have the opportunity to visit for the Oniyo festival on Jan 7, you should definitely do it!

First things first: this isn’t your sleek, modern Tokyo high-rise. Grandma’s House is exactly what the name implies—a modest, older Japanese home filled with the kind of character that makes you feel rooted in history and community. The house’s architecture reflects a traditional Japanese layout, complete with sliding doors, tatami mat flooring, low ceilings, and thoughtful minimalism that gives the space a calming, peaceful energy. That said, taller guests should take note—if you’re over 5’6” (about 167 cm), be prepared to duck a bit. The ceilings and doorways are low in some parts of the house, which adds to the cozy, nostalgic feel but might be a bit tricky if you’re not used to it. For us, it was more charming than inconvenient. It reminded us that this was someone’s beloved home for decades, and that sense of warmth lives on in the space.

Casa muito bonita e limpa, com excelente vista da montanha. Chuveiros ótimos. O dono opera uma cafeteria no primeiro andar, o que é muito conveniente no café da manhã. Takao san deu ótimas sugestões de passeios locais e ficou muito feliz em receber nossa família, inclusive nosso cachorro!

The house has more amenities than expected. Everything you need is there. The hot spring is very good. Everyone in the family loves it. There are massage chairs to help you relax. The kitchen is fully equipped. Playing the piano with a view of the cherry blossoms is very good. There are also small games for us. Even though the house is a bit old, everything is okay. The owner pays attention to details very well. There are charging cables provided. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

入住前沒有很多的指示，當天查問後指出門沒鎖上，直接進入便可。 泊車位置足夠，但是附近道路狹窄，大車需要泊車有一定難度。 入門後有家的感覺，有很多家具，因此放置行李嘅位置不多。2樓估計是因為我們人數不多，沒有開放給我們使用，圍繞鎖鏈。 沖涼地方比較舊式，但都足夠使用。沖涼房沒有暖氣，因為冬天沖涼比較寒冷。 明確有告示指同時打開某些電器會有跳電的可能性，但沒有遇上。 整體滿意的住宿。

Yuko-san was great. She sent photos of the turn-off to get to the place, as it is not well-marked from the street. She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The road to approach the place is steep and narrow, and it was quite challenging to turn around at the end, even in a small car. We had an entire house, and it was quite spacious. Some areas seemed worn or older, and perhaps in the middle of a remodel, but it seemed fairly clean overall. Some of the ceilings were quite low, and passages between rooms were even lower. We had a couple of spiders as visitors, but nothing too strange for being in the country. The beds were quite hard, but I found some extra padding and was OK when I used that with the original bedding. It was nice to have an actual couch, too, as we haven't had many in our month in Japan. Yuko also had fresh produce and sauces we could eat/use for cooking. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. Wifi worked well. We would gladly stay here again!

Great stay! The house was spacious, clean, and felt just like home. It’s located very close to Dazaifu, which made visiting the shrine super convenient, and it's also not far from central Fukuoka. We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after a day of exploring. The host was kind and responsive, and everything we needed was provided. Would definitely stay here again!
