On a hill overlooking the Tanigawa mountain range, there is a private rental cottage, "Hoshigaoka LABO", which is limited to one group per day. On sunny days, you can enjoy the beautiful ridgeline of the Tanigawa mountain range and the sunset, and at night, you can enjoy the snow lit by the moon and the starry sky. The Minakami area is known as the closest outdoor mecca to Tokyo. From spring to autumn, you can enjoy activities on the Tone River such as rafting and canoeing, and in winter, the area is covered in high-quality powder snow, and there are multiple ski resorts dotted around for beginners and advanced skiers alike. The building is a comfortable home made with a focus on natural materials, using solid wood and diatomaceous earth from Gunma Prefecture.
