Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.

A cosy annex only 0.7 miles from Syrencot House. A fascinating D-Day history, nestled in the beautiful Avon Valley and with views of the river across the lawn. In a small hamlet with numerous walks on Salisbury Plain, the Brigmerston Annex is hidden away down a private drive in a curve of the River Avon, surrounded by paddocks and water meadows. Codenamed ‘Broadmoor’ by the allies, the house was used by 6th Airborne Division as a planning cell for the invasion of Normandy on 6th June 1944
