This is a lovely cottage for a family holiday. It is spacious and well appointed, Lynn has put a lot of thought into ensuring that each room is attractive and comfortable .There are lovely walks to take directly from the house and further afield . The area is beautiful with a variety of things to do including museums and activities for children. Lynn is excellent at communicating and answering queries speedily.

Peaceful cottage in a central location. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided by the host and Sara was available to answer our questions promptly. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay and for the biscuits and mint chocs too. My daughter loved it too x

The accommodation was homely and well equipped with everything we could need for a walking holiday with our family and our dog and there was a secured garden that our children and the dog could enjoy (and us a gin and tonic in the sun!)

Amazing property, extremely well appointed and spotless. Lovely and clean linen and towels provided. Great location for peace and quiet with lovely views. Superbly finished and with the lovely weather we had this weekend, the bi-folds, the garden space and the bbq and pizza oven were all used and appreciated. The freshly baked and warm welcome bread was a lovely touch. Andrew was very responsive, check-in was very easy with the instructions and door code sent in advance. We could not have asked for more, and will definitely return for another stay. Andrew, thank you so much and keep doing what you are doing. There is nothing I would have changed or expected beyond what was provided.

Stunning surroundings, lovely comfortable home, really spacious, had absolutely everything you needed, great garden for the dogs and the farm animals were adorable but especially the lambs. It was me and my wife first time in lake district and I not a better place to be than in ambleside. The view was immaculate. The pictures really doesn't do justice to what's its really like. It's so peaceful in the morning and jaw-dropping mountains view in front is just what you want to wake up to. You've got a beautiful Lake and caves that you can visit. It's honestly the full package. The house is everything you need. I really do recommend visiting karens place. She was so nice and very helpful with my needs. I will definitely be visiting again.
