Secluded, Pet-Friendly Cabin with Hot Tub & Trail

Laura is an amazing host! Very responsive. The home is beautifully appointed with lovely details and felt very homey for us and our 2 pups. Super quiet and private. Although I knew it was up a gravel hill/road, and secluded, I was not aware of how narrow the road would be and how long it would take from the main road to the home. It is the last home at the very top, so for my anxious self, that was a challenge, but the home itself was wonderful as was Laura as a host! My partner Brian did have an incident where he had to back up 200 yards on this narrow dirt road to allow one of the neighbors to get down the road as she gestured she did not feel safe to pass him- so just things to be aware of. Thankfully he did all the driving and handled it with ease. :) Given they are still working on some of the roads up to the home post Helene, it just adds a bit more time to get from the house into downtown Black Mountain or Asheville. Again, nothing absurd, just something to be aware of.

We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

Unique Tree House - Pretty Place Dupont Brevard!

It's an extraordinary house built around tall trees and right down the street from Caesar's Head. The house itself was quite interesting- the design, the decor, the reclaimed wood, all tucked away in a wooded neighborhood. As a solo traveler, I felt super safe, and I liked how tucked away it was while being off of the main mountain road. Easy to get out and up to the scads of trails at DuPont Forrest or to cool cafes in Brevard. The kitchen was well stocked with things to get cooking if that's your thing. Great water pressure, lovely shower. So many windows to take advantage of gorgeous nature views, as well as the porches for sitting comfortably and taking it all in. A couple of good spots for working on a laptop, and I never had any issues streaming video on WiFi.

Matt's place has incredible views of Lake Lure, providing a vista that exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy and fast. The property was spotless upon arrival. The privacy of the property was ideal, no neighbors in sight as the property sits atop a hill on a larger lot. I will miss waking up to sunrises over Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains! Five stars! We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. Loved the hiking trails behind the house (if you head to the left you'll see an awesome waterfall!) and saw deer and even the white squirrels! Great location—close to town with charming shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

This was without a doubt the best house I stayed in on my fourth visit to Maggie Valley. Everything works in the house and it smells great. It is super clean, in a super safe location, easy to get to and close to everything. Facing the river you can have your coffee looking at the beautiful wire in front of the house and then if you want go to the river to throw some rocks. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

We had an incredible stay here for a group of 8 women for my sister’s bachelorette. We were very comfortable and loved all the indoor and outdoor common spaces. A short drive to downtown Asheville, but secluded and peaceful while at the house. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday with our friends. The house was beautiful and comfortable, with great light and plenty of places to stretch out and relax. Very comfortable beds with soft linens, and they provided ample towels for both showers and after hot-tub use. We really loved the pool table. It was the perfect place for us! Thank you so much!
