Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mills River

I had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but that is probably more about my lack of knowledge with keypad entries. 😂 The home was spotless when we arrived and we filled it with lots of laughter and fun! The back deck was amazing - even in a gentle rain. And, our last night there we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Cate were INCREDIBLY helpful and communicative. They answered every question within minutes and made us feel well taken care of. Departure was easy and they requested minimal prep for departure. They made staying at their home easy and comfortable. 👍

Smithson provided a very comfortable cottage for our family to stay for the weekend. He was a wonderful host and very helpful with everything we needed. We would recommend his cottage for anyone visiting Asheville!

Absolutely delightful and classy space. Very luxurious and lots of tasteful details relevant to the locale, such as a framed map of the Blue Ridge Parkway and a copy of Grandma Gatewood's Walk. Check out procedure was very smooth and effortless.

I really loved staying in Liz’s cottage. It was so peaceful and private. A perfect home base for our girl’s trip to the North Carolina mountains. The little stream that runs behind the cottage was one of our favorite parts. A great place to have some quiet time in the morning. Liz was also so responsive and helpful to the questions that I had. I cannot recommend enough.

This was the perfect basecamp for exploring Pisgah National Forest. The house was immaculate, and I highly recommend staying here.

we loved this little house! it was perfectly located between Brevard & Hendersonville. the neighborhood felt safe for us. (2 elderly sisters) The beds were very comfortable. and the house was stocked with everything we needed. and given the opportunity, we'd stay here again. Jerica was a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend. this sweet little house!

To say this spot was a gem is an understatement. I have stayed in places that have cost 3x this much in far more exotic places that didnt come close to the accomadating and kind nature of these 2 hosts. The home was beautifully clean and well kept and the garage was such a bonus for my situation of why i was there. I will make it a point to book with them whenever i am in the area even if im farther away.

We enjoyed our stay. Rodney and Dulcy were very accommodating. Their apartment is conveniently close to a relative we were visiting in Woodfin.

Mike was a terrific host. He answered every question I had, gave great recommendations, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely recommend to my friends back home. 5 stars!

We spent 3 days at Dawn and Ron’s Asheville home. Their space was very clean, smelled nice, and had every convenience you could possibly need. Unfortunately it was rainy during our trip so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the patio/grill or the goats, but they did greet us with wagging tails as we came and went! Loved the waffle bar and complimentary coffee - such nice touches that made breakfast a breeze! Also loved that they provided toiletries and washer/dryer. This space provided all the comforts of home, about 15 minutes to all the AVL activities. Dawn and Ron were very communicative and kind hosts. Would recommend their home to anyone!

Sweet upstairs unit surrounded by lovely greenery. Easy check in experience with easy going hosts that like to accommodate. Close to downtown Weaverville but down a lovely dead end road with very little traffic and pastoral views.

Lynn's place was perfect for our family. The backyard is gorgeous and the view is truly incredible. Lynn went above and beyond as a host to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Asheville.

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville, and we're very comfortable in this peaceful setting. Kelle and Max have created a beautiful space to stay. It's very clean, well equipped, and all directions and instructions clear and helpful. Kelle is a famous communicator, and quick to respond. Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! Very clean and comfortable home. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I have seen at an air bnb. The air conditioner quit working, I notified them and hey had someone there within fifteen minutes. Would stay there again.

Beautiful quiet retreat space. Host was very informative with instructions on getting to the location and where to find the amenities. It’s a must stay.

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cabin! The hot tub was such a nice treat for us. Everything went smoothly with checking in. Love that the place felt secluded and we could see the stars clearly at night!

More often than not, rental properties fail to deliver what was promised. This one hit the mark for everything that it promised. Beautiful views and a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. All basic supplies provided. Clean, neat and uncluttered furnishings, plus everything needed was there and in great working condition. Beds were comfortable. The driveway was an experience, but it added to the adventure in a unique sort of way. Morning coffee and sunset cocktails on the balcony were incredibly wonderful for relaxing.

Can't wait to come back! So glad to have found this beautiful gem. It was so peaceful & I loved seeing the sheep. Everything was smooth & clear in communication. One of my favorite parts was the hammock out front & all the cute and wonderful decor. Thank you Ms Sharon ~ we're so grateful !!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!

Magical place to stay. Lots of great hikes with waterfalls just a short drive away. Seamless experience with Zoltan—he’s done the cabin up beautifully with everything you’ll need. Especially loved the evenings by the firepit.

My family had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The house gave a worm cozy feel to our amazing weekend. Great location as well!
