The Stone Cutter's House

Anne MirandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sylvie and Phillippe were the most charming and gracious hosts one could hope to encounter. They are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Cordes-sur-Ciel and the surrounding medieval villages and towns. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos (the view from the kitchen window alone made this a marvellous place to stay). Kitchen and bathroom are beautifully appointed. Bit of a hike to the shops, but the cobblestone streets are enchanting and the exercise didn’t do us any harm! We would like to thank our hosts for everything they did to help us have an absolutely wonderful month in southern France.
A rustic entrance is framed by a stone facade, featuring natural materials and muted colors. The doorway is accented by a wooden overhang and a lantern, with greenery surrounding the entrance. Low-growing plants and decorative grasses add texture and interest to the welcoming pathway.

El Palomar: Charm and Nature in Cordes-sur-Ciel

NaomiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Aurelie's place, it's a beautiful house and the garden is a lovely place to spend time. It's a countryside home so we did encounter a couple of big spiders, but overall had a wonderful stay here. Aurelie was great to communicate with and didn't mind us making a last minute booking. Thanks again, Aurelie!
A vibrant garden is depicted, featuring various flowers and greenery along with a stone building. A small bistro table and chair in red offer a spot to enjoy the outdoors. The background showcases lush trees and a peaceful landscape.

La grange aux Cazals

MaximeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Jean-Marc, Dominique and their daughter are adorable. They were very welcoming. We were delighted. The restoration of the barn is very successful. It's cozy, elegant, personal and very well-equipped, functional. If you are looking for a place to unwind, in a small part of the world, this is the place. Nature as your only neighbor. Ideal for cutting off from "modern life" but with all the comforts. Very well located place in Tarn, but on the border of Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne, with 2 great places, respectively Najac and Laguépie. And Cordes-sur-Ciel equidistant! We'll probably be back!
A view from the window reveals a bright landscape of rolling green hills and trees under a clear blue sky. Distant structures are visible among the fields, offering a serene and natural setting.

Elisabeth and her husband hosted us very well in this tastefully furnished barn. The small village of Monestiés is charming, in a very culturally rich area. We had a wonderful week. We highly recommend it!!!
