Cozy cabin by the mountain lakes

The road is closed in the winter! Langvassbu is idyllically located a few meters from the long river at the foot of Ilfjelet. A great space with a unique location in a sheltered location. In the area there are many nice hiking opportunities for hiking in the forest or in the mountains, there are also good hunting and fishing opportunities in terrain where you can find mushrooms and mullets. It closes at first snowfall in the fall and opens around May. It is 5 km skiing from the parking lot, it is possible with motorized transportation in.

Cozy cabin in excellent position just 1h from Trondheim by car via E6. By train the Berkåk station is 3,5km far and by bus 480 the bus stop “Liagrind” is nearby. The area offers a few minute by car: supermarkets, cafes,gas station with electric car recharge, shops. There are many hiking areas in the summer and ski areas in winter. Oppdal and Nerskogen ski center are 35km away. A few meters you can find Buvatnet lake, reachable walking or by bike where you can swim and relax in the picnic area.

Previously, there was a barn on the field, now only the cabin remains, so there is plenty of space around. Our traditional log cottage with gras roof has all modern facilities with kitchen and bathroom in the new basement. Scenic views of rivervalley. Located on a farm with lots of animals: sheep, horses, cats, dog and rabbits ... Great hiking and fishing! The cottage is in three stories; bedrooms on the top floor and bathroom/kitchen in the basement, with stairs in between. Not suitable for everyone, but for those who dont mind stairs the cottage offers a cozy and charming atmosphere!

Our two-room apartment has a separate entrance and thus offers the necessary privacy. With about 60m², it offers lots of space for relaxation. About 500m away is the river Gaula, which is excellent for fly fishing (salmon). By arrangement, it is possible to use a beate. Apartement is also located along a pilgrimage route. The location is outside, in the countryside, making it very pleasantly quiet, perfect for getting down.

You'll love my place because of the views, the location, the vibe, and the outdoor area. My place is great for families (with children), large groups, and furry friends (pets). On the Afternoon Winner there are run up ski runs just outside the living room door that among other things go to a ski hut where there is a service on Sundays.
