Where do I start? This place has a special charm that is shaped by the history and age of the accommodation. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay from a well-equipped kitchen to efficient heating. Although the heaters are electric, they keep the rooms warm and cozy. The place is incredibly spacious, and the location is perfect for walks or skiing right outside the door. In addition, the host is exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but due to a misunderstanding we had to leave earlier than planned. We definitely hope to come back. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's an old place – but that's exactly what gives it a unique, almost magical atmosphere.

Cozy cabin in excellent position just 1h from Trondheim by car via E6. By train the Berkåk station is 3,5km far and by bus 480 the bus stop “Liagrind” is nearby. The area offers a few minute by car: supermarkets, cafes,gas station with electric car recharge, shops. There are many hiking areas in the summer and ski areas in winter. Oppdal and Nerskogen ski center are 35km away. A few meters you can find Buvatnet lake, reachable walking or by bike where you can swim and relax in the picnic area.

This simple cabin is perfect for those who want to experience nature in Forollhogna National Park. Located deep in Synnerdalen, it is the perfect base for mountain hikes and the river Bua offers the opportunity to take a swim. The cabin is a mountain pasture belonging to a farm in Kotsøy. Previously, there was a barn on the field, now only the cabin remains, so there is plenty of space around. Although the standard is simple, you have everything you need to spend some pleasant days in nature.
