Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Middlesex County

5 stars! We have stayed at a number of Airbnbs in the US and Canada over the years. While we have never had a negative experience, this home exceeded ALL our expectations - a tall order indeed when traveling with 3 generations! The property struck a rare balance of serenity and fun. This was our first trip to the Chesapeake Bay and the home was a perfect example of hospitality and beauty we enjoyed around every turn of our adventure.

Cannot wait to visit again!! The area was so beautiful, as was the house. There were so many fun things to do in the area. The private beach was perfect and peaceful! Was very sad to leave but excited to come back!

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

This place is a gem, gorgeously situated along the Rappahannock, with comfortable rooms and great amenities. The water views do not disappoint! The small beach area was perfect for our young children, as the water was gentle and shallow for quite a ways. (We do recommend water shoes, it gets a little rocky further out.) We kayaked in the morning and watched the sunset each evening. Sadia was a responsive host and communicated clearly. We overall had a great experience and would highly recommend this experience to others!

My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

The perfect spot for two couples to stay to attend a wedding at Tides Inn. Despite being an older home, the place was in great shape and incredibly clean. True to the many other reviews, the hosts stocked the place to the nines, providing any and everything you could possibly need. We loved spending time on the porch and in the expansive back yard, and whole heartedly recommend a stay here to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

I rented Deborah’s place for my family so they could stay close by to my home in Urbanna. The house was spotless easy to find easy to get in and very well equipped. While the weather didn’t cooperate, there was plenty to do and the house feels much larger than it is due to the open floor plan and lovely decor. The house is less than five minutes from town and there is lots of shopping close by as well as several restaurants which we visited. We really enjoyed the quiet tranquility and the well-thought-out decor. One of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. We will be back!

Wonderful hosts. Thought it might be weird staying in someone’s guest home with them right next door but was not at all. Would definitely return and stay here again. Place was very convenient to restaurant and was in a quiet neighborhood.

Great bang for your buck. Right in the center on the island and near the docks so very easy to get to. Travis was proactive and responsive.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

Excellent stay. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and quick. The place was spotless and had what we needed. The general store front door is adorable. I needed to have a work meeting through zoom while I was there and the internet was strong in the cottage. The town has spotty service. Thank you Allen. We would stay here again.

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we needed, and was accurately described. It is a fairly new place, and was extremely clean. There was no sulfer smell in the water, unlike the other Airbnb's we've stayed at in this area. The house and landscaping was beautiful and the decor was so tastefully well done. Bernadette was great, always friendly, and quick to respond. We hope to be able to return for another stay.

Had a great stay with TV, truly one of the best hosts we have had, great place to stay. Easy walk to Tides Inn and quick bike ride to downtown. Pool and waterview from the roof deck were awesome amenities and hard to find in the area.
