Chalet vacation rentals in Michigan

What an absolute "gem" in the woods. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Jennifer was very receptive and periodically checked "to make sure" everything was okay. The house was in a secluded and quiet wooded neighborhood. There is something to be said about enjoying a hot cup of coffee sitting and the porch and taking in the sights and sounds of autumn and the smell of the fallen leaves. The dogs had a great time exploring the fenced in yard. I have a passion for cooking and found the kitchen supplied with an abundant supply of cooking utensils and pots and pans with a large kitchen table to sit down and enjoy those dishes. Quiet time in the evenings were spent watching movies in the family rooms. The house is centrally located and never more than an hour away from our daily adventures in various areas in the state. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.

We stayed at the Chalet the weekend of Cherry Festival and found the price to be VERY reasonable. We were a party of 8 and felt comfortable with the space and bed layouyt (2 couples and 4 kids). The decor was very tasteful and we noticed all the little touches such as bringing extra dish soap over, fresh flowers in multiple places, and delicious, fresh cookies! There is a basketball hoop and campfire. They have a wonderful deck out by the lake, perfect for parents to hang out while the kids swim. Next time, we'll make use of the grill down by the lake and make a meal down there as well! Plenty to do on the property alone! Becky was very helpful when we wanted information on Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and provided information on the area before we got there. Thanks for a WONDERFUL stay!

Lauren’s chalet is spacious, beautiful, well decorated and really feels like home. My husband and I loved the primary suite, the bed was very comfortable. The kids loved the treehouse and all of the trees behind the house. I wish we had better weather but regardless of the cold, we really enjoyed the stay. The WiFi worked great even though it’s very remote!

Carrie’s place was fantastic! Easily slept 12, easy to get to right off of a paved road.

there was plenty of room for seven people. the rooms were all big. there was enough stuff in the kitchen to use. the only thing I wish was a half bath upstairs people had to come down to use the bathrooms. but other than that it was great

Great place to gather when you need space! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We were in town for a family wedding. Lots of great places to sit and talk inside and outside too. Very close to Charlevoix and The Castle Event Center. Would be beautiful in the fall and winter!

The Chalet was absolutely amazing!! The most beautiful, fun, family oriented place we have ever stayed at. They had absolutely everything you could need or want and the place was so much more amazing than the pictures could even describe. Jennifer was the best host to work with. She was kind, friendly and really wanted to make our trip memorable. We loved our entire experience and it made our wedding weekend absolutely amazing!!❤️

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful Cabin. We were very comfortable and able to make great meals, play games, and sleep well. It was beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and unique. The hot tub was a great amenity that we all enjoyed.

The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a large family weekend away. Kelli was great to talk to you and communicate with before the visit and answered all of our questions. Would love to book in the future. Also, lots of great things in the area to do and bonus to be able to use the pool.

It pains me to write this review because this was the kind of place and experience that you want to keep to yourself so that it doesn’t become so popular that it’s always booked in the future, but these girls deserve it. The A-frame is bigger than you think and exactly as pictured. It’s comfortable, clean, and quirky in perfect ways. During our stay we lost hot water. It was a boiler issue. The response was immediate. The boiler was serviced while we were on the ski hill, and left on the counter when we arrived back to the A-frame, was a lovely bottle of wine and a huge box of donuts from a local bakery. The apology was unnecessary, things happen, but it just goes to show that Meg and Camille are as special as their A-frame. Brava ladies! We will be back.

My family had to pivot at the last minute when our vacation home sprung a leak in the roof and into the home. We found this home available and had a response immediately from Susan. We actually like this place better than our own! The mid-century modern decor is amazing and cozy.. the home was extremely clean, the bedding was even cozy comfy. The kitchen had all the necessities and wow did we love the sauna especially after going snow tubing! The star of this place for us was the view out the dining room window to the beautiful Hills of Bellaire/Shanty Creek. Thank you Susan, we would definitely look you up again if in need in the future😊

Great place for the family to relax. Close to all the sites and activities of town

Marcus was a great host and the house lived up to the photos and description. Location is an easy walk to Glen Arbor, but surprisingly private. Having 3 bathrooms was great with 3 couples, kitchen was well equipped, and the patio & hot tub area were nice to hang out in. If you can get the weather to cooperate, October is a great time to visit Glen Arbor!

Easy in and out. The view is beautiful. We skied Schuss which is close to the cabin. We ate at Shorts Brewery… 10-12 minute drive!

Diane’s place offered us exactly what we needed which was peace and serenity! The lake was beautiful and quiet yet close to lots of things to do! We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Diane!

Beautiful cottage and perfect place for the weekend. Brandy provided clear and helpful instructions that made check-in and overall stay super smooth. We were down for a bike race in the area and would love to come back next year!

this was a beautiful place to stay for the weekend and only about 30 minutes from boyne! would definitely stay here again!

We unfortunately seen people complain about this place because of the spiders or the bees, little critters, etc… however it’s a chalet in the woods, cozy and comfy! Nice people all around and we really enjoyed the entertainment of the boats going up and down the channel. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.
