Words cannot describe enough the wonderful time we had staying here. We stayed in 2 other places in our visit to Crete as this was by far the best and our favourite! The village is beautiful and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant has amazing food which is cooked by Georgious (who is a great chef!) and the local cafe also has amazing food (you have to try Lefki’s Galaktoboureko it’s divine!) The atmosphere of the whole village is perfect. The surroundings are serene and beautiful and watching the sunset behind the mountains is a magical experience. Maria is one of the kindest, gentlest and warmest people you could ever meet and she really made our holiday one we will never forget. She recommended many places to visit and things to do which were amazing and we would not have found them without her! We cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us and the great evenings we had chatting under the stars by the mountain. We will be back very soon to visit!

We felt privileged to stay in this lovely characterful home with its huge rooms and rustic charm. We had everything we needed to enjoy our week's stay there: the beds were comfortable, the house well-equipped and the views from the terrace to the sea lovely. There's a good taverna nearby. You could walk, but it's uphill all the way back and the weather was hot during our visit. The roads were challenging for our small underpowered hire car, but do-able. The pay-off is the peace and ruggedly beautiful scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay at Georgios’ place. Communication with him and his wife was very smooth — they responded quickly whenever we had a question and were also very flexible with the check-in. The flat is a dream and waking up every morning to such a beautiful view right by the beach felt like a real fairytale. We truly felt that they cared about us — they kept us informed about important things (like an earthquake) and other helpful updates. We highly recommend the flat and them as hosts. Would definitely love to come back. Thanks for everything!

9 days vacation in a wonderful little apartment with a really great terrace. Everything is new and friendly and furnished with a lot of love. But we were even more impressed by Anna's cordiality and all her little (edible and drinkable) gifts, which were always at our door. Thank you again dear Anna. The apartment is easily accessible, with its own parking right outside the door and within walking distance to the beach and town. On the beach, you can lie down on the available loungers in front of most taverns for free and enjoy the day. Of course, you should also eat something at the respective tavern. The way back from the beach and also from the harbor area in Agia Galini is safe for one or the other to describe as somewhat more strenuous, just like the 3 floors up to Anna's apartment. A challenge with heavy suitcases:) But, with that you can also comfortably eat in one of the many taverns with a clear conscience!!

We stayed with our 3 kids for 8 nights in June. Accomodation is spacious, modern and clean. Just the bathrooms were little tiny. Giorgos is a great host and he was available all time by Instant Messaging. The beach had very few other guests just at weekend a few locals were around, which was actually charming. You must be aware part of the roads are not paved, but luckily we followed Giorgos recommendation to rent a SUV. A real super market is 30-45 minutes by car, but a few local small markets are nearer. Taverns around are good at reasonable prices. We were aware of the location and what we booked, so we had fantastic holidays. Perfect place to spent time to relax, slow down and enjoy time with family. Strong recommendation to rent Kyma Appartment!

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

plenty of beauty and serenity to be had here, i highly recommend
