House vacation rentals in Mialet

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

Loved our stay! Idyllic place, beautiful house with character in a beautiful estate. Great for a family vacation. Many activities in the area to do as a family. Veronique was lovely. We'll be happy to go back.

Labeaume is a wonderful little gem, and although tiny it has several restaurants, bars, artisan shops and a great little provisions store featuring local produce. Silvie's family chateau has the most incredible location and views overlooking the village and the river. The pool and outdoor areas were stunning, with plenty of options for full sun, shade or in between depending on the weather, including covered areas for dining or relaxing. Inside is every convenience and the most charming rooms. The listing and photographs cannot possibly do justice to how wonderful this place is. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor plancha was a fabulous and social way to cook in the evenings we didn't walk down to the village for typically wonderful French dining. Our favourite was Sablas pizzeria, which serves the most delicious cracker style pizzas and the burgers - oh wow. Probably our favourite trip ever, and that's saying something. We had a very good holiday at Caroline's, the house is very nice with all the necessary amenities ( air conditioning, pool, outdoor kitchen...) everything is done to make our stay go smoothly. Located in a quiet environment in the countryside, perfect for those who like to be quiet. Nice place to visit the area.

We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

Awesome character home on the vineyard. matches the photos perfectly, great access to the vineyard grounds where you can see chickens, horses and sheep as you walk around. Perfect for walking into town or day trips to Montpellier & Nimes. Ticked all the boxes for us.

Our stay in Suomen was simply wonderful a true hidden gem in the South of France! The accommodation was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. You can really feel the care and love the host has put into every detail. What made it extra special was the peaceful setting surrounded by nature, perfect for unwinding, yet still within easy reach of nearby sights and villages. We had breakfast outside every morning, with a view of rolling hills and the sound of birds all around pure magic. Our host was warm, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy. We felt truly welcomed and at home from the very first moment. The house is absolutely beautiful! The photos, which were already very beautiful, don't even do this incredible place justice. Also one of the best equipped rentals in which I had the opportunity to stay. Henk is so kind and accommodating. He made the whole stay disconcertingly easy. We had an exceptional three days there!

We had a lovely stay at Aurélie's place. The farmhouse is full of charm and Aurèlie is very welcoming. A bottle of rosé and a bottle of water were waiting for us in the fridge, the attention was very appreciable. The environment is very quiet, ideal for relaxing. Excellent stay at Claire's, the location is ideal with the river right next door, within walking distance. I was well looked after and guided to find the accommodation. It matches the photos, very well-equipped. A little extra for the garden just in front, nice for eating outside in the shade of the trees.

We had a wonderful stay with our whole family, spanning from 9 months old to 80! The outdoor dining area was great for breakfast and lunch during the hotter times of the day and the terrace and pool were perfect for a late afternoon swim and aperitif. The local area was peaceful and remote, just as we'd hoped it would be, with an excellent restaurant a short drive (or long walk) away and the bustling Saint-Jean-du-Nicholas close enough to do our grocery shopping.
