Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

A dreamlike house in the idyll of west France! We had a wonderful time as a family in the beautiful house Colibri in Médis. We are very thankful for Hélène and Delphine being warmly welcoming to us and tremendously friendly, uncomplicated and extremely helpful. The house is very beautiful, cozy and comfortable, the equipment and the garden are fantastically laid out. We look forward to being back very soon! All the best, Nell & Family

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

The apartment is perfectly equipped and clean. It is in a very good location while being quiet. It is a perfect base to discover the city of Royan and its surroundings while enjoying excellent services. The bedding is also excellent quality! Finally, the communication of the check-in and checkout procedures was very clear.

A perfect weekend in a warm setting Had a great weekend in this absolutely perfect accommodation. Everything was there: impeccable cleanliness, optimal comfort, neat decoration, quiet and quality equipment. You feel at home there from the first few minutes. But what makes this stay truly exceptional is the hospitality of the hosts. A big thank you to the owner and her husband for their kindness, availability and benevolence. Their welcome was as warm as it was authentic, and you can feel that they put their whole heart into hosting. I would recommend this place without a second thought and I will not hesitate to come back as soon as possible. Once again, thank you for everything!

A great stay at Camille's impeccable apartment, which shows her good attention to her guests. We particularly appreciated the friendly provision of tea, coffee and a recommendation sheet for the surrounding area. Camille was considerate, allowing us to check in earlier. The residence was particularly peaceful.

We had a great stay in this calm and beautiful location. Plenty of space and the kids appreciated the pool even though a bit fresh being early in the summer season. We spent most of our time at the beach as it’s only a 10 minute drive away. Many thanks to Eric who was a great host and explained everything we needed to know about the house and the equipment. We will definitely return again here if the chance comes along.
