A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building, and a lakeside sauna. The toilet and running water are located in the main building. The renovated wood-fired sauna and gently sloping beach are suitable for families. A grill, a muurikka, an electric smoker, a rowboat, and fishing gear complete the equipment. The main cabin, which was completed in the 1960s, has been cold in the winter, so the traditional smell and atmosphere of the cottage are a part of it.

As a guest, you can enjoy peace and quiet in the coziness of a small house (40 m²). From the highway, you can reach our property by car in just a few minutes; we are located 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from the center of Jyväskylä.

Rowing boat, two kayaks and a canoe available for free during the vacation. The car must be left on the mainland. Rowing distance to the island 300m Honka cottage built in 1997. Bathroom & sauna renovated in 2017. There are no other cabins on the island. Running water comes from the lake, not drinkable.
