Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Metropolitan city of Catania

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

Had absolutely fantastic experience in this beautiful Sicilian house! The view was truly breathtaking. The house itself was charming, authentically furnished and equipped with everything necessary, also for our small children. The pool is large, perfect for cooling off on hot days and was well maintained. The service was also excellent. Both the caretaker and the owner were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always on hand to help us with any questions or suggestions for fun activities in the area. In short, we are very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday in Sicily.

The apartment was a great option for us to stay long-term in Sicilia outside the bigger cities but still close. We enjoyed our stay so much as it is calm with a beautiful view from the balcony, a fireplace inside and so many cozy corners. The flat has everything you need, is well equipped (really enjoyed the beamer for movies and the sound system for music) and Angelo was always so helpful. Acireale has very nice cafés and restaurants and after some days you get familiar with the surroundings and staff starts greeting you as it becomes a regular place. The station is a bit far but nontheless we enjoyed the walk there and so many other cities and places (including Etna, Catania…) are reachable within minutes or hours from there.

Stayed here in this quaint little seaside village off the beaten track only for 3 nights and wish we had more time. I don’t quite get what that negative review was about because this house split between 2 floors was so perfectly styled & furnished with everything you need. Definitely not your typical Sicilian holiday home. So much space in both apartments with an incredible rooftop overlooking MtEtna - & weren’t we lucky this time to see it alive. Amazing pool with lushes green gardens. Kids loved it! Great local restaurants & bars right along the water. It was about a 30min drive to Taormina but I tell you we all much preferred hanging out in this village going for an evening walk along the sea. Great experience. Real Sicily. Recommend. The house was great, and the gardens and grounds with pool were absolutely outstanding, with the most wonderful views of the coastline, and easy access to Mount Etna too, I would definitely come again (when the weather is warmer!). Our Host, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful and was incredibly proud of her home country and the local area, and was super responsive for anything we needed.

Vincenzo's property is a really great and quiet place where you can base yoyrself to visit this part of Sicily. Taormina us really close as is Catania ! Vincenzo is super friendly and offered to help us as much as we wanted of the lemons and oranges that grow on his land. Nice shot of vitamin c in the morning.

Everything was perfect! We had a great time at Etna's! We particularly appreciated the garden which is just beautiful! 🤩 Thank you for everything!

Walter's place is simply wonderful, very clean and spacious, it offers all the necessary comforts. The large terrace offers the opportunity to spend even outside pleasant moments of the day, from breakfast to dinner, as it has sun loungers/chairs and table where you can eat, barbecue and a large umbrella. The view you enjoy is great. Walter was very kind to offer us a welcome and provide us with a lot of useful information.

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Wonderful house and location! We loved it here. The house has a lot of beautiful furniture, as well as an open terrace with a great view. The host Franco was so very kind, gave us many recommendations on local beaches and cafes

Salvo is a super helpful host, he always answered us very quickly & was always available. The location of the villa is great, you can travel by car very quickly to Taormina & Catania. The pool is very clean & the terrace is wonderful & very large.

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

Amazing place for a short stay with family and friends. The place was very clean, well equipped, and exactly like in the pictures. The view from the balcony was especially beautiful. The only complaint is that it is a bit cold in the bathrooms but other than that it was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Francesca's place for a week. The house is in a perfect location, very close to lidl, supermarkets and shopping centers. Just 10 minutes by car from the center of Catania (for the type of trip I had in mind it was a perfect house) plus it is slightly raised on a hill, and on the warm days of August we had the pleasure of breathing some fresh air! 15 minutes from the house are also beautiful sea areas (such as "the caves of Ulysses"). Francesca is very helpful and open to dialogue! Overall a positive experience!!

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Villa Lenzo is located in a beautiful setting. Lots of privacy at the location. The village of Ferla can be reached in 5 minutes by car. There are a few restaurants and also a Coop supermarket. It's a must to have dinner at Quattro Canti. Traditional dishes and the pizza Etna is highly recommended! Furthermore, there is a bakery and butcher. In the direct surroundings you can find Pantalica. A beautiful area to take a walk between the rocks and along the river. But you don't necessarily have to go out. Enjoy the sun at the villa with the occasional splash in the beautiful swimming pool. There is also a large gas BBQ available to have a bite to eat at the villa. For the sports enthusiasts, there is a table tennis table. We thought it was a top location and the host Paola provided us with all kinds of information to make our stay even more pleasant. This villa is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, light, and flow of the space. It’s full of natural light, with a spacious layout and thoughtful interior touches that make it feel both luxurious and homey. Every room felt intentional and serene, and having plenty of bathrooms made our stay super comfortable. The yard was a dream in itself with plenty of space for yoga, breakfast on the patio, swimming, and more. Truly, we all felt like princesses in a fairytale. Paul was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and full of local recommendations that made our trip even better. He even let us store our bikes in the garage, which was so appreciated. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights at NeroEtna with our daughter. The house has one of the best views at Etna and on our first night Etna surprised with volcanic spectacle. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is farmhouse style and spacious with very much privacy. At our arrival the fireplace was already lighted! Nunzio is a friendly and welcoming host and adviced us on our trips. We regret not being able to stay longer!

Very quiet area, two minutes from the village, very helpful owner and comes to meet any need you have, I recommend it, we rented it close to Epiphany and finding stockings for the children was a real surprise, I highly recommend it ps: barbecue area and children's games really a treat

An excellent apartment in a quiet secluded area if Augusta. inside was spotless and we'll arranged. Good bathroom and shower. only slight downside is the WiFi signal that barely extends beyond the living area so zero reception in the 3 bedrooms. Property is secure. Lovely pool.and separate outside bathroom. Area is quiet (apart from the barking dogs) but not much ti explore on the doorstep.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
