What a stunning house! I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s perfectly located near Castle Hill rocks and a charming, cozy village. I highly recommend Robert’s house if you’re planning to hike in Arthur’s Pass. Everything was clean, fresh-smelling, and well-kept — no musty or muddy odors at all. A truly wonderful place to stay!

Great little studio unit that worked well for our week long snow holiday as a couple. Easy walking distance to great local restaurants and cafes. Responsive and helpful hosts. Everything was as described and we found the place to be plenty warm with good sunlight. Thank you for having us 😀

Thank you! We loved our time in Methven. The house is warm and welcoming with plenty of space for our family of four. The charm and character of the home is delightful, the spa is fantastic and the location is within walking distance to everything you need. Maree’s attention to detail added a touch of luxury, which made our stay feel even more special.

Plenty of amazing tramps/hikes across beautiful landscape with amazing and responsive team. 100% recommend: I’ll definitely be returning!

A perfect first night in NZ! This place is amazing. Game room in the garage kept us entertained for hours. Everything we needed was there including coffee and milk. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. Bathrooms were very nice and the kitchen was well appointed!

We had a very enjoyable experience at the property. The description provided was accurate, and the place was well-suited for accommodating a large group. While it does show signs of age, this can actually be beneficial when traveling with a group. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the town center and the hot pools. It's worth noting that there is an apartment above the house, but their presence was hardly noticeable. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were always accommodating to our needs. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would like to express our gratitude for the hospitality.
