Best Corner Uptown; Walk to Audubon Park; Ride Streetcar

This home is located in one of the very best neighborhoods in New Orleans and is within easy walking distance of the St Charles Avenue streetcar; two top-rated restaurants, a French bistro, several other casual restaurants, a wine shop, a cheese shop, a grocery, a neighborhood bar, two banks,, a hair salon, a nail salon, a dry cleaner and much more! Built in 1900, the home is accessed by the brick stairs leading to the porch landing and double beveled glass doors. There is plenty of on-street parking just outside the front doors. You are invited to relax and make yourself at home. Yes, you may play the piano! (It was just tuned!) In the building, 2nd floor only (it's plenty of space at 1700 sq ft). Guests are also welcome to enjoy the covered sitting area, the patio and garden and the grill, if desired. Use of the basement or third or fourth floors are not permitted for this rental. I am available by phone or text when needed, but want you to enjoy your privacy, so will not visit without an invitation. There are instructions inside the apartment and also a listing of recommended dining options and music venues. I have travelled to many countries and enjoyed the hospitality from people all over the world. It is my great pleasure to host fellow travellers in my home! Welcome!! Jeanie The house is in an area with some of the finest architecture in New Orleans. It’s one block to the streetcar and steps away from excellent cafes, restaurants, shops, and markets such as Zara's Lil' Giant Supermarket. This is the best walking neighborhood Uptown. Even Magazine street is only 6 blocks away. You can Uber or Lyft anywhere outside the neighborhood or take the streetcar to your destination and Uber or Lyft home I cannot say enough about the location of this apartment and the spaciousness and scale of the architecture.

We had the best time experiencing the natural and urban cultures in the bayou! Henry’s place is amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fun! Crabbing, fishing, hot tubbing, cooking and relaxing in…and venturing into NOLA was so easy with so much to explore …and a day beach trip to Bay St. Louis was a nice surprise with gorgeous and clean white sandy beaches for miles and a cute seaside town. What a gem of a spot! A perfect blend of relaxation and exploration! The perfect family adventure!

The house was exactly as described. It was in a quiet neighborhood in Mid City with a mix of other Airbnbs and neighbors. About 15 min from the Quarter, there was a trolley stop close by. There were some good local eateries around the neighborhood as well. We had a minor issue that required repair and Gabriella had a person out to fix the issue that same evening. We felt comfortable leaving our car parked in the gated driveway with both an automatic gate and pedestrian gate access.

Brad's place was perfect for our stay. The kitchen and bathroom had all the essentials and the house decor was funky and fun and eclectic. Checking in was a breeze and his guide book had loads of great recs. The location was great - we were able to walk into the French Quarter easily and the neighborhood around the house was so cool, filled with loads of art and artists. The backyard was adorable and we sat back there every night. Just a heads up that the bedrooms connect and don't have doors between them, which was totally fine for us but might not work for everyone! The beds were super comfortable, temperature was great and Brad even supplied noise machines if you are the type of sleeper that uses one. He was welcoming, available for any info, and touched base during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly the perfect spot for our long weekend and I would recommend to anyone!

We had a group come down to bowl the national bowling tournament in Baton Rouge and to visit New Orleans. The location was perfect to do both. The house was clean and very comfortable. Trish was very responsive when i sent her a text or two with questions about different things. We even set off the alarm one afternoon and it was taken care of within a few minutes. Very enjoyable stay and would recommend for anybody that wants to visit New Orleans!!
