Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Messina

Benny is an incredible host. We had a wonderful two days there. His place is in a great location and we loved everything about it! We also went to CutìLuDissi which is his and his business partner’s restaurant. It is located right where everything is happening and the entire meal was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!🇮🇹

A really beautiful and confortable home with a lovely hostess! Laura's home is beautifully decorated with an amazing scented garden with a view. Perfectly situated in the old Taormina, 20 meters from Porta Catania to which you enter the main street, Corso Umberto, full of shops, restaurants, and many churches to visit. A very pleasant walk in the morning when not too busy to discover the beautiful architecture of the town, stop off for breakfast then visit the Teatro Antico. The view is fabulous. If you walk to the end of Corso Umberto just after Porta Messina, take the cable car down and visit the small Mazzaro beach. Have an expensive but worthwhile drink at the Villa Sant'Andrea hotel, stunning and lovely staff. On Laura's suggestion and help for the reservation, we had a wonderful diner at Casa Niclodi, a must! We can't wait to return and visit more the surroundings, but Laura's home is hard to leave! Thank you Laura for your very warm welcome, you really made us feel at home.

Anoeta hat uns in Lipari empfangen und beim Gepäcktransport geholfen. Das Haus ist wunderbar mit dem Roller zu erreichen und liegt sehr abgeschieden und Ruhig in den Hügeln über dem Meer. Von dort aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer, den Sonnenuntergang und weitere kleine Inseln. Zum Frühstück kann man, mit etwas Glück, den Ätna bewundern. Alles nötige ist im Haus vorhanden - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich super. Der Pool, Hot Tub und die Sauna sind super um zu entspannen und es sich so richtig gemütlich zu machen. Im Dorf nebenan bekommt man Lebensmittel und alles weitere. Es gibt neben dem Supermarkt auch einen Metzger, dort gibt es sensationelle Grillhänchen + Rosmarinkartoffel auf Vorbestellung - sehr zu empfehlen. Der nächst gelegene Strand ist wunderschön um sich im Meer zu erfrischen, ca. 5 mit dem Roller plus 15min zu Fuß wandern. Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum mit liebevollen Details. This place is absolutely amazing - my favourite town (and accommodation) in a week-long road trip around Sicily. The house itself has everything you need to be sufficient and feel at home, and the atmosphere and surroundings are second to none; peaceful, and aesthetically just stunning. We did a mix of walking round Montalbano Elicona and relaxing in the courtyard, and it was a lovely - if far too brief - stay. As for the hosts, Antonina and Frank were communicative and responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. You won’t regret booking this place!

Wir (vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Salvos Apartment. Die Lage am Hafen ist einfach großartig, es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus und viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen und essen gehen. Danke, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften.

The house was great, and the gardens and grounds with pool were absolutely outstanding, with the most wonderful views of the coastline, and easy access to Mount Etna too, I would definitely come again (when the weather is warmer!). Our Host, Vanessa, was absolutely wonderful and was incredibly proud of her home country and the local area, and was super responsive for anything we needed.

Vincenzo's property is a really great and quiet place where you can base yoyrself to visit this part of Sicily. Taormina us really close as is Catania ! Vincenzo is super friendly and offered to help us as much as we wanted of the lemons and oranges that grow on his land. Nice shot of vitamin c in the morning.

Waanzinnig mooie plek. Het was even spannend omdat we laat in de avond de weg moesten vinden maar de instructie van de host en de communicatie was perfect. En wat was het de rit waard, waanzinnige plek, prachtige tuin en huisje was helemaal goed. Bedden waren goed, dekens lekker warm tijdens de nachten die afkoelde. De trampo heeft top vering, volgens onze kids. Kortom aanrader.

Besonders gut hat uns die Betreuung vor Ort von Angela gefallen. Wir sind in alles super eingewiesen worden. Chiara war immer erreichbar und hat uns einen Parkplatz vermittelt, der 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Viele Tipps haben una geholfen schnell im Ort zurecht zu finden. Vielen lieben Dank an Chiara und Angela. Wir waren zu sechst in der Unterkunft und haben uns auch selbst versorgt. Alles war ausreichend vorhanden. Geschirr, Gläser Töpfe und Pfannen. Wir sagen Danke und kommen gerne wieder.

We had a great vacation in Taormina at Sabrina’s rental property. Super clean and well equipped. Beautiful sunrise out of the sea every morning with mainland Italy in the distance. The community beach is very easy to walk to from here. Albeit a lotta steps but that’s great exercise after a week of pizza and pasta. Thanks Sabrina

Nous avons séjourné pendant une semaine à 6 personnes dans la partie a l étage de la maison. L appartement ne correspond pas tout à fait aux photos puisqu une chambre a été ajoutée dans le salon … mais la pièce de vie reste très spacieuse. Il n y avait pas de volets ( et pas de rideaux opaques dans le salon) ce qui est dommage quand on dort dans le salon et que le soleil se lève a 6h … et surtout pour couper du soleil quand il y fait très chaud . La cuisine n était pas suffisamment équipée plutôt rustique Heureusement que Sonia s est montrée réactive à nos demandes. La Clim était indispensable mais n est pas assez performante pour rafraîchir les chambres. Je dirais que l appartement vaut le coup pour la terrasse et la vue sur Taormina et la tranquillité s il y a du monde au rdc ( cet appartement doit être plus adapté pour un long séjour) .les extérieurs sont vraiment magiques et très appréciables en période de canicule ils sont d ailleurs très bien entretenus .

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Alessandra. Ze stond zelfs ons om 23.30 op te wachten, we hadden een late vlucht, om haar appartement te laten zien. Alles was binnen loopafstand en de auto kon bij het huis geparkeerd worden. Super! Ook de eerste benodigdheden had Alessandra in huis gehaald. Kortom zeker een dikke aanrader om dit verblijf te boeken.

We had difficulty finding the location because Taormina is not an easy city to navigate in a car. Sabina was helpful in helping us locate the garage.

Deux jours deux nuits très agréables passées dans le logement de Georgia. L’espace est impressionnant, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison grâce à l’accueil exceptionnel de Georgia. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de possibilités de restauration à part en voiture mais Georgia avait laissé une quantité impressionnante de nourriture. Grâce à elle nous n’avons manqué de rien.

We had a great experience at Antonio's. The spot is perfect, beautiful ocean view, right on the lungomare, very close to the main corso but away from the city noise. Antonio was very helpful with recommendations. He went above and beyond a couple of times for us. The unit is private and quiet, and large enough for several people. We enjoyed many coffees and meals on the beautiful balcony. Highly recommend!!

Only stayed for one night while travelling which was a shame as I would have liked to stay longer. very good location and a really good apartment, better than the photos. Friendly host as well

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

We stayed for a week during New Year. With a two families, in total 9 people. Great place and great host. The surroundings and views are beautiful. The property has everything including a lot of fruit trees. You are close to the beach and there is a nice family style bakery and restaurant right around the corner. The house is next to a highway. You do notice at first, but after a couple of hours it’s not a big deal. There was a problem with the electricity but Mauricio handled it well and quickly. He is a great host.

This villa is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, light, and flow of the space. It’s full of natural light, with a spacious layout and thoughtful interior touches that make it feel both luxurious and homey. Every room felt intentional and serene, and having plenty of bathrooms made our stay super comfortable. The yard was a dream in itself with plenty of space for yoga, breakfast on the patio, swimming, and more. Truly, we all felt like princesses in a fairytale. Paul was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and full of local recommendations that made our trip even better. He even let us store our bikes in the garage, which was so appreciated. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommended.

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

We spent 2 nights at NeroEtna with our daughter. The house has one of the best views at Etna and on our first night Etna surprised with volcanic spectacle. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is farmhouse style and spacious with very much privacy. At our arrival the fireplace was already lighted! Nunzio is a friendly and welcoming host and adviced us on our trips. We regret not being able to stay longer!

Zona molto tranquilla, a due minuti dal paese, proprietaria molto disponibile è viene in contro a qualsiasi cosa si ha bisogno lo consiglio, noi lo abbiamo affittato a ridosso dell’ epifania e trovare le calze per i bambini è stato una vera sorpresa, lo consiglio vivamente ps: area barbecue e giochi bimbi veramente una chicca

I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
