House vacation rentals in Messina

Beautiful accommodation in the middle of a cultivated, lush green property with fantastic views towards the east coast. Everything was as expected based on the pictures and description, rather a little prettier. Cleanliness great, tranquility and panorama fantastic. The reception is super warm, recommendations for excursions very good. The location is of course a bit off the beaten track, but absolutely OK to reach by car through narrow alleys. You just don't find something like this right in the village. Overall, an absolute recommendation!

Don't hesitate to book this place! My son and I thought it looked so beautiful in photos, but we were blown away by the beauty that greeted us when we arrived! Beautiful and lush garden, wonderful surroundings and the house itself was completely unique! A mix of old and new, it is really an architect who has had a sense of detail when they renovated this room! The place was authentic and quiet. Maria was kind and good at communicating with us before we arrived. I had read many good reviews about her personality and was disappointed that she would not be there during our stay. But when we arrived and met Vittorio who was there instead of Maria, we were just happy he was the most helpful and sweet person! He did EVERYTHING to make us feel comfortable and offered to shop for us and went to the pharmacy when I got an infection. His hospitality and charming personality were absolutely formidable! We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We had a lovely stay at Michele’s place. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The large outdoor space made our holiday really special. Michele keeps the garden beautifully neat and tidy, and the surrounding area is very peaceful, so it was a pleasure to spend time outside. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool, although it was a bit on the cool side when we were there at the end of May. The little terrace area was a real sun trap, so ideal for sun bathing and warming up after a dip. The lawn is shaded by beautiful mature trees, which must be lovely in the hotter months. The property is close to Etna National Park and as well as doing a guided trip up Etna, we had some lovely hikes in the foothills and lower slopes of the mountain. (I downloaded the AllTrails app to find local walks). Michele was a very considerate host and always ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

A fantastic holiday. We were a group of 11 people. Two families and grandma. We have enjoyed Sicily. Fillipo is a great host and was always there for us. Beautiful nature, friendly people and good food. Taormina is recommended and also Cefalù. Near the house is a beach which is really great. We enjoyed the holiday and that really came the house and the host. Highly recommended!

Marcello was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He and his dad were both very polite and welcoming. At one point, we asked if there was a toaster in the place, and his dad brought us a brand new one the very next morning and left it at the door. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful view! You have views of everything, mountains, volcano, ocean. Super responsive anytime we messaged about any questions. Great experience! Our son is stationed in Italy and we plan to visit every year! We will definitely be back!!

Daniele's apartment is at the far end of the Naxos bay a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the beaches and beach side restaurants/traffic. It sits between a couple of small, independent hotels but for us, in mid-June, was very quiet and peaceful, and with a beautiful setting overlooking well kept gardens and the sea. Not much else to add to the other positive reviews.....it's a great, well-appointed, private and quiet apartment and not a bad place from which to explore the Messina region if you have a car. We certainly recommend!

Barbara was an excellent host and we loved her home: we rented the entire home for our family (adult kids and partners, plus my husband and I) and it was perfect for everyone. The house has a fantastic view of Isola Bella, stairs to the beach are just few steps from the house, and there’s a parking lot just across the street (if you are driving be ready for very narrow streets ;) with cars, scooters and people all together). Barbara was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I booked and even more when we arrived. She communicated constantly with me. I highly recommend her place to feel at home waking up to a gorgeous, peaceful view. And there’s lot to do in Taormina and the surroundings. Fantastic trip, we already miss it …

Incredible views. Incredible little village 5 minutes walk away, mountain and sea views. Completely magnificent, didn't get enough. Car a must but easy to find everywhere, recommend sunkisses beach club where it was easy to park the car. The village just above had everything you can wish for, sparse with restaurants but was good enough. There was also a small shop, with an emphasis on small. The host was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Very quiet and restful accommodation, which the soul felt good from. We were one day in Taormina but longed back to the tranquility of Forza di Agro.

We had a wonderful time with Michela and Antonio and felt like we were with friends. Very clean accommodation with everything you need. We had the great pool to ourselves. Michela pampered us with limoncello spray, refreshing and delicious. The property is in a very quiet residential area, by car only 5 minutes from the sea. We can 100% recommend this place, we would have liked to stay longer if we come back to Milazzo, definitely go to this place. By the way, Milazzo is a beautiful town and the old town with its bars and restaurants worth a visit. Thanks for everything!!!

Cozy and spacious house, equipped with every comfort. Great hospitality and kindness from the hosts who made us feel at home right away, ensuring we had everything we needed together with courtesy and reserve. Daniel, although "remote," was always very quick to respond to us. Apart from this, the place is an authentic place of peace and relaxation, surrounded by greenery and quiet. Practically everything we were looking for for these last summer remnants.

The most amazing week in Taormina, Gianfranco met us on our first day and gave us a detailed tour of the property, he told us how to get around and gave recommendations on where to eat and go. The place is even better than the pictures. Comfy bed, spacious kitchen, great bathroom and the star is of course the patio, we could sit there taking in the view all day. The jacuzzi is amazing, spectacularly situated overlooking the whole town, so relaxing after a day exploring Taormina we looked forward to it everyday! We also loved the hike to Castelmola which is so easy to find the path from the property All in all we have nothing but positives after our week here, thank you Gianfranco & Giovanna!

A perfect house with a huge terrace, complete with a kitchen, outdoor shower, and table. Very well maintained, clean and equipped with everything you need during a vacation. The area is very quiet, reachable from the port by scooter or bus in a few minutes. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic - best vacation so far. The island is a wonderland for hiking, biking, diving, great food and people. Incredible.

Angela is a very dedicated host. She compiled a dossier like the Yellow Pages with tips, was always available, everything organized. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, you should have a car. The shops for shopping are also within walking distance. The house itself has everything you need. Beautiful rooms, pool is also nice but I myself heated too cold, I am there but also frozen, my daughter did not do that at all. We felt very comfortable.

We stayed there for a week, visiting all the nice nearby places, after which we could enjoy a nice afternoon of rest at this place. A great place to chill, enjoy the beautiful scenery and garden. The house itself was very beautiful, clean, had everything needed, and on top of that the host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the great time!

Walter's house is very beautiful and perfect for two people (and a dog). It is in a very convenient location, a stone's throw from the center of Lipari. The garden is large and well maintained, and the house offers all the amenities for a long stay. Walter is very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything — we hope to be back soon!

Absolutely magical stay at Pina's place! Forza d'Agrò is such a charming little village and Pina's place was perfect to enjoy it - especially sitting on the balcony with our morning espresso and our evening wine. The apartment is beautifully furnished, super clean, and had everything we could possibly need. Recommend having a car if you stay here, as there are a number of beautiful beaches just a 10-15min drive away. And easy to get to Taormina. Highly highly recommend staying here!!

We are out of time in Montalbano and at Antonina's, we only feel peace, wonder and serenity.

Such an amazing stay!!! A little slice of paradise amongst the lemon and orange trees with a view of Etna and the sea. Would love to come back anytime!
