Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Villa Monziani, an exclusive 17thC lakefront house, one of the oldest on the island in the middle of Lake Orta, recently completely modernised, offers a peaceful and romantic stay in beautiful and historic surroundings, with private boat (10HP - no license required) guarantees full flexibility & our mainland locked garage included. The property features a delightful shaded pergola, ideal for al fresco dining with loved ones. Inside, the house boasts a roomy living area, complemented by a convenient parking space.

The accommodation between the two Lakes

The accommodation is in Paruzzaro, very close to Arona (5 minutes) and therefore to the most beautiful locations of Maggiore and D’Orta Lakes. Not far away is the characteristic Lake Mergozzo. It will be an ideal point of support to visit both the Lakes and the nearby mountains. The nearby towns of Orta and Mergozzo (15 - 20 min.) offer a very characteristic and unmissable landscape. Milan-Malpensa Airport is 30 minutes away, while the motorway exit is less than 10 minutes away.

Cottage in the woods with Finnish sauna

Our small house looks like a comfortable and cute 45 m2 studio with an equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed with a king size memory mattress, a Finnish sauna room (an extra fee is required) completely covered with lime wood and heated with the wood-burning stove (as in the real and authentic Finnish saunas), a bathroom with a shower stall, and a bucket for the waterfall of fresh water. Outside, ample green space with pool , canopy and barbecue.
