House vacation rentals in Mesão Frio

This place has a fantastic view!! Definitely would recommend and has a good central Location to other sites. The hosts are really sweet.

Uma casa espetacular, éramos 5 adultos e 5 crianças e com espaço de sobra. Cozinha super equipada e funcional, quartos muito bons e grandes, garagem fechada e grande cabe á vontade 3 carros e apesar da altura do ano não ser a ideal ainda aproveitamos a piscina fantástica e que fez as crianças super felizes. As comunicação com os donos não foi presencial mas foram super explicativos e sempre prontos a esclarecer alguma questão. Tudo 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

It’s a bit of a drive off the beaten path to get there (car GPS had no problem) but well worth the drive! A lovely vineyard with spectacular views from every angle! Even though we were there in mid Oct, went for a very refreshing swim in the pool that is steps away from our room. Just a short walk away is a lovely waterfall on the grounds. Sonia lives on site - she is a gem. She does all the cleaning as well as offers laundry service (for a very small fee). The place was spotless & well appointed. We were provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, several cartons of milk & juice, butter, jams, ham & cheese. We also were provided with copious amounts of a variety of fruit (oranges & kiwi grown right there in the vineyard) The piece de resistance were the homemade (by Sonia) rolls and croissants we received every morning - they were the bomb!! Enough food for us to enjoy for breakfast & lunch! Stay here. It will NOT disappoint.

Ficamos durante uma semana nesta casa e só temos a dizer coisas boas. Check-in rápido e flexível. Divisões espaçosas, casa impecavelmente limpa e muito bem equipada. Zona exterior bastante ampla e que contava com uma excelente piscina. Por fim, destaco a simpatia/disponibilidade da Catarina, que foi sem dúvida mais um dos pontos fortes desta estadia. Voltaremos com toda a certeza!

Local excelente. excelente para quem quer repousar e relaxar profundamente. é preciso considerar a utilização de automóvel para fazer algumas coisas! excelente casa, piscina é pequena, mas para 5pessoas é excelente! Parabéns e continuação de execelente trabalho e profissionalismo! Parabéns!!

Outstanding Douro Retreat. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the home and property were. Ana also set us up with an amazing guide who you're us around on our anniversary.

Un endroit merveilleux avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée du Douro ! Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine mais nous aurions adoré car elle surplombe la vue sur toute la vallée, c’est sublime ! Les appartements sont très beaux, décorés avec goût et très bien équipés. Petit bonus pour le poêle qui permet de chauffer le soir, l’ambiance cocooning est ultra reussie ! Et surtout un grand merci pour l’accueil très chaleureux 🥰

This dreamy stay at the quinta is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing few days. I recommend doing the wine tasting with them and to take a stroll through the vineyard. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, you feel right at home and they were so nice to provide some breakfast with fresh bread. Would very much recommend!

Communication was wonderful, particularly with the excellent directions given. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of wine and a wonderful overview of the area by our host. The small winery is very interesting and the tour given by the host son was excellent.

We had a peaceful stay in the Casa de Musica flat with two adults and two kids (4 and 7). The property is well equipped for relaxation and wandering the grounds, and the kids loved the pool. The wine / port tasting and winery tour onsite was a fantastic experience; great perspective of a small scale producer in the region.

Would recommend to anyone staying in the area. The place is huge and the views are spectacular. I can’t say enough good things. Please stay here!!!

Perfect jumping off point for Douro Valley. The house served our family of 5 well. We had a great experience with the property manager, Beatriz. She was very communicative and even helped us ship home a few items we left behind. Overall a great stay.

My family and I loved this elegant beautifully decorated with original art work villa that has orange and lemon trees that we made fresh orange juice every morning. The little town of Oliveriera(sp?) was great to walk around. It rained a lot while we were there 4 nites in April 2025 so I think that a summer stay would be better in order to use the pool and try the grapes in their vineyards. Sergio and Josesandre? Gave us 2 bottles of wine from their vineyard which was delicious. Luckily the heaters worked just fine so we could warm up the house. The WiFi and internet worked great also. Luved it! Andrea

beautiful location, surrounded by nature and amazing views (just like the photos). easy to find and check in and out, close to wine yards and great restaurants (always by car). if going with pets don't forget ticks repellent!

Idyllic, peaceful - we had a perfect time. Pedro is amazing as well. Even as I’ve sobered up I still think very highly of my experience here.
