This place has a fantastic view!! Definitely would recommend and has a good central Location to other sites. The hosts are really sweet.

Quinta de Portelada is a heavenly, quiet and well-located place for visiting the Douro region. The apartment is very well equipped, ultra clean and functional with a great view of the vineyards of the area. Unfortunately, we did not meet João because he was traveling but he was really quick to answer all our questions, Sonia who was there to welcome us was exemplary kindness and so accommodating throughout the stay, the lunches are really well stocked (ham,cheese, jam, juice, fresh fruit, breads and fresh croissant of the day) We highly recommend this oasis without any problem.

A spectacular house, we were 5 adults and 5 children and with plenty of space. Super equipped and functional kitchen, very good and large rooms, closed garage and large enough for 3 cars, and despite the time of year not being ideal, we still enjoyed the fantastic pool, which made the children super happy. Communication with the owners was not in person, but they were super explanatory and always ready to clarify any questions. Everything 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

We just have to say thank you for all the hospitality we received. A very good and pleasant week.

Adriana is a fantastic host, simple but very comfortable house, well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to be used. The only least positive point (not for me), away from any commercial space.

Wonderful stay in the Douro region! 👌 The house and the surrounding space were great, very well equipped and perfect for accommodating groups of friends, accompanied by a swimming pool and an incredible view! We were also welcomed in the best way by two very dear big cats. 🐶 Paulo was also excellent, always being very attentive! I definitely recommend it and we will most likely be back!

It’s a bit of a drive off the beaten path to get there (car GPS had no problem) but well worth the drive! A lovely vineyard with spectacular views from every angle! Even though we were there in mid Oct, went for a very refreshing swim in the pool that is steps away from our room. Just a short walk away is a lovely waterfall on the grounds. Sonia lives on site - she is a gem. She does all the cleaning as well as offers laundry service (for a very small fee). The place was spotless & well appointed. We were provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, several cartons of milk & juice, butter, jams, ham & cheese. We also were provided with copious amounts of a variety of fruit (oranges & kiwi grown right there in the vineyard) The piece de resistance were the homemade (by Sonia) rolls and croissants we received every morning - they were the bomb!! Enough food for us to enjoy for breakfast & lunch! Stay here. It will NOT disappoint.

For four days, we had the privilege of enjoying the hospitality and beauty of Quinta de São Pedro. From the moment we set foot on this charming property, we were greeted with smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The lush, well-kept gardens provided a quiet haven where we were able to relax and recharge. Every detail of the farmhouse reflected care and dedication, from the comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms to the delicious meals prepared with fresh and local ingredients. The walks along the pedestrian paths overlooking the Douro, safe and stable were a true sensory experience where I could enjoy the beauty of nature. We feel truly cared for and pampered by D.Sila, who is a very helpful and caring person, always willing to help and made our stay memorable , I left St. Peter's farm with happy memories and a heart full of gratitude. Thank you to the entire team.

Paulo was always very friendly, accessible and helpful with us. The area is very nice and quite calm, ideal for a getaway on the slopes of the Douro.

The GPS couldn't work out the location so we had to rely on our phone to get to the house. We missed the Wine tasting by the look of it as a result but our host welcomed us with an introduction and free taste of their wine and explanation of their lovely property. The visit EXCEEDED our expectation. The Duoro valley is really lovely and well worth a visit. The host and his family were very kind and attentive and I will be heading back there with other family members asap. THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.

We had a great stay! Sónia welcomed us with great kindness and affection. The farm is beautiful and the house is cozy. We'll be back for sure!

We were quite shocked at how beautiful Paulo’s farm is. My wife and I were more than pleasantly surprised as how expectations were well exceeded. Paulo’s home is on the property but up the hill away from the rental. The pool and pool house are near their house but it still feels very private and comfortable. Paulo was extremely accommodating, gave great recommendations and make us feel more like his personal guests rather than just a normal rental. He checked in occasionally via message to see if we had everything we needed. It was very clear that great pride in the rental and farm was taken. Everything seemed well thought out, and we really appreciated the care the was taken in making us feel special and at him. It was by far the best rental experience we’ve had over the years.

After 3 days in Porto, on a whim we decided to spend a night in the Duoro Valley after many recommendations. We lucked out finding this beautiful Quinta for a one night stay and are so glad we did. It’s family run and they are very helpful and involved. It was cherry and loquat season when we arrived so we were able to pick straight from the tree and enjoy next to the pool along with a glass of wine and port that they make on the estate. The view is spectacular and the hospitality is outstanding. We highly recommend the wine tasting/tour and don’t miss the bread van every morning at 9:30 (you will know by the continuous horn at the gates) with fresh local bread and pastries you eat while overlooking the valley. Can’t wait to come back!

Super nicely located accommodation with great view of the Douro. Beautiful little winery with personal tours. Only the kitchen needed some upgrades, especially the dull knives.

This AirBnB has one of the most beautiful views I have seen in my entire life and the house itself is also just as amazing. This is the perfect place for a peaceful trip to the countryside of portugal. The one thing I would stress is that renting a car is a must. Leaving the house for any reason requires a car and while there are taxis in the area, renting is much more convenient, especially if there are more than four people staying at the house. Other than that I cannot say enough good things and it would be a mistake to overlook this house.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing and exceptional stay. Beyond the breathtaking view from the villa, everything inside was perfectly thought out - with so many little (and big) surprises that made the whole experience even better than we expected. On top of that, they helped us arrange a last-minute early-morning transfer to Porto airport - which we really appreciated. Highly recommended, and I truly hope to come back for another stay someday!

A wonderful place to relax in the Douro Valley! The views are stunning, and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The apartment is clean and cozy. The host was welcoming and attentive. He left a lovely welcome package with food and drinks, which was a very nice touch. The kitchen is well equipped, and there’s a convenient outdoor grill where we enjoyed making dinner with a view of the valley. The pool is large and fits perfectly into the relaxing atmosphere. Photos don’t fully capture the beauty and charm of this place — it’s even better in person. We’d love to come back!
