Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Merseyside

Michelle was very accommodating to us, we rented the Air BNB for a small initamte wedding and Michelle made sure we had everything we needed and even bought us some little extras as a wedding gift. She was extremely helpful in the build up and while we were there making sure any questions we had were answered quite quickly. It was such a beautiful and clean home and we would definitely recommend booking it!!

We booked the property as a base for the end of season football celebrations in Liverpool as oppose to staying in the city itself. The property was perfect for a party of 4 & ideally situated around a 15 minute walk to the train station in Southport even though the journey into the city was a little long at over 45 minutes. We would definitely consider staying at this property in the future.

We had a lovely stay. Really nice neighbourhood. The garden was so pretty with a beautiful woods at the back. Could hear birds all day, very peaceful. The house had everything we needed including a great walk in shower. Getting into Liverpool was easy. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and it’s also easy to get Ubers. Thankyou Jon & Vics.

A perfect house, spotlessly clean with easy parking. A perfect place to stay if you are going an event in Anfield as it’s walkable and only a 15 minute ride by car into the centre of town (£10 in a cab)

Lovely place, well located for Liverpool, and the North West including day trips to the Lakes. David and Kathy are very friendly hosts.

Nicola was really quick to reply. She was really helpful on arrival day and had no issue with us parking and leaving baggage a head of the check in. She also made us aware of issues with traffic on day of departure. Really would recommend.

Fantastic, well looked after clean tidy house. I didn’t know what to expect but my expectations were exceeded.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for us, exactly as described and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The host was incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host, highly recommended!

Beautiful, spacious and clean flat in great location at a very reasonable price. All necessities required for our stay were provided. Simon met us for check-in and showed us round. Would happily return if ever in Liverpool again.

Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

This apartment is all about the spectacular views - from every window. It's a personal space, comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The apartment is a gem — a beautifully arranged basement within the family's main house. It's tastefully decorated, really comfortable and cozy; we felt completely at home. Corinne was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is very practical: in a quiet suburb but extremely well connected to the center of Liverpool by public transport. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We love to stay here when we come up to Formby. Feels so comfortable, well situated. The extra touches are very welcome. After our long journey, there are always nice things in the fridge for us to eat and drink on our arrival. John is there if you need any help, but it’s very much your private apartment while you are there. We now regard it as our ‘home’ in Formby.

Had a fantastic stay! The place is in a great location - just minutes from everything. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, with all the amenities I needed and a charming little balcony to relax on. Truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a place to stay in Liverpool. Within walking distance from both Anfield and Goodison Park, ideal for football days. Also, it’s only 15 minutes in a cab from Liverpool city centre/ docks which is great for anyone looking to explore the city. Clean, spacious and well organised place.

Sue’s apartment was in a great location and very peaceful. The apartment was extremely clean, with modern fixtures and fittings. We loved the contemporary art collection too. Very close to Lark Lane with lots of lovely eateries. We were spoiled for choice. Sue was a super host and left us a lovely hamper of provisions and essentials in the fridge. She communicated well with instructions for the apartment and good directions to get there. Would definitely recommend a stay. We do hope to make a return visit.

Nicolas was a wonderful and very helpful host. He greeted us on time and with great courtesy, and we truly appreciated his flexibility with our arrival time. The apartment was exactly what we needed—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept very well. The location couldn’t have been better—close to both the bus and train stations, which made getting around super easy. At the same time, it’s in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would gladly book again if we get the chance.

Chris was extremely welcoming, as were his two gorgeous dogs, and helpful. The flat is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything is thought of for the guest- even down to a torch if you didn’t want to disturb anyone during the night to go to the bathroom. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk etc all provided, along with toiletries in the bathroom. This is an absolute gem of a find and we hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay, a comfortable apartment with a lovely view of the marina. It was very peaceful but just 20 minutes walk from all the main waterfront attractions. Parking was easy and Sarah was a helpful and responsive host.

I had a lovely stay in The Studio which is tucked away and so peaceful. The Studio is small but perfectly formed, well thought out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. As a solo traveller on this trip it was great to feel secure too. Parking & check in easy. The Studio has lovely seating areas outside too overlooking the owner’s garden & field & woods beyond. Very peaceful and private apart from the visiting duck & her ducklings - an absolute treat to have them ‘’visit’ daily! I have previously stayed at Wendy’s place next door “Rustic” & recommend both places. I’ll look forward to staying again.

Tracy’s place was the perfect location near to everything…nice touch having a balcony as we did have a beautiful,sunny, quite hot day on the balcony. The apartment is in a quiet location & the apartment has all the utensils necessary
