We stayed in the Forge which is a lovely stone annexe to the main house, luxuriously appointed and very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter at Edge Hill uni and this was the perfect base. Janet was also very helpful in helping us get various things sorted out for our daughter, going way beyond to assist. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of tasty, wholesome options. We will stay here again, and look forward to our next visit.

Had a wonderful stay with Jan and Michael. They were so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful house and our room was very nice with tea and coffee making facilities with the use of our own bathroom with one of the best showers we have ever had. Had a lovely continental breakfast to send us on our way. Would definitely stay again and would totally recommend anyone to stay here.

This accommodation is incredible value given its location and facilities. A desk might be helpful in the room, but in all other respects its was super. Bathroom facilities and wifi all absolutely as per requirements. Coffee and toast in the mornings was a very kind touch. Thank you!

Rosie was an exceptional host from the outset. Really helpful before we even arrived and helped so much on the day. We were delayed by traffic and running late and she even sorted us an uber and made our room up earlier than the check in time. Really beautiful house and spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely girl xx

Corrinna could not have been kinder or more welcoming to me and my little dog. She was so welcoming even when I showed up at 10pm for check in, and made me a coffee and breakfast in the morning. She even gave me a lift to the ferry terminal. Super clean bedroom and bathroom as well. Thanks Corrinna!

We loved all the little touches like a mini fridge a coffee machine with pods, kitkats, toiletries in the bathroom and a guide to hilbre Island. the bed was super comfy and looked beautiful. We loved the chickens and Syd! Also only a 2 minute walk to all the pubs bars and restaurants. It was really nice we would definitely stay again!

It does exactly as it says on the tin. The snug has everything that you need if you just want somewhere to shower, sleep and have a quick bite to eat before heading out for a day of exploring. Roger and Gaye were very proactive in making sure that I had all of the info that I needed prior to arrival. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again myself.

The house was lovely and spacious, had a very old world vibe, but also managed to be extremely modern as well. One thing that stood up to me was how spectacularly amazing the shower was. Alice and Dave are really good people, extremely chatty and friendly. Amazingly outgoing as well. The bedroom was comfortable, spacious, and overall a nice place to be. Plus the snacks were a nice touch as well. :-)

I booked this on behalf of my mother who actually stayed. She could not fault Catherine and her hospitality. 5*s all round! Great welcome, spotlessly clean house and room and a delicious dinner. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure my mother was super comfortable. Really great place to stay!!

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

Big THANK YOU to Polly, John, and your gorgeous dogs Misty and Spud for a wonderful 3 night stay, they were walm and welcoming and put on lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms were large, clean and decorated with vintage pieces. The home was full of wonderful unique picture's and pieces of art and it was so lovely to walk around and take it all in. The grounds are beautiful and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the pool, which was fabulous. John and Steph are a hard-working couple doing their best to provide an exceptional stay for everyone! We were not disappointed and The Tower is steeped in history! We stayed in the front tower room, which was grandiose with enormously tall ceilings and with a lot of character. The breakfasts were amazing too! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our visits out to the Welsh countryside… Thanks very much for looking after us so well 😊

It would be an injustice to Oscar if I didn’t comment with such sincerity, when stating that there are far too many superlatives to list on here about the studio. 5 stars throughout encapsulates my experience! Oscar was generous in so many ways and deserves to receive continued success with his Airbnb offering. Having returned home and told my husband about my experience (he wasn’t able to join me on this occasion) he’s admitted he’s jealous! I’m therefore now in the process of arranging a date to return with him. Thank you for everything Oscar.

Fantastic hosts with lovely doggies. they made us feel right at home, like visiting family and we felt instantly comfortable. Despite also living in the space they were very understanding about what we needed for our baby. Everything was clean and amenities provided. was only a flyby stay but I would book here again 💯.
