A quiet village scene features a narrow stone bridge arching over a shallow stream. Lush greenery grows along the water, while a neatly maintained road runs alongside. Traditional red-brick houses are visible in the background, framed by trees and a clear blue sky.

Stylish Somerset studio

Madeleine is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome. It’s our second stay at her property and we would not hesitate to book again. The village is beautiful. The annexe is perfect and pristine. The bedding fresh and crisp. We had gorgeous weather and were able to sit in the garden just outside. Perrys cider farm across the road which was lovely. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here, in such a beautiful place with the loveliest owner (and of course Rupert the dog).

Round The Bend, an annexe in a quiet village.

WendyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We can highly recommend Suzanne's tastefully decorated annexe. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable indeed, extremely well equipped, with everything that one could need and of good quality. It was very well thought out and everything worked perfectly. Comfortable bed, good shower, lovely soft luxurious towels. It was quiet and had a very nice outside terrace, with garden furniture and parasol. The private parking was easy to access. Suzanne had provided us with milk in the fridge and a delicious homemade cake on arrival. We were able to walk to the local pub, just a few minutes away. This annexe is worthy of 5 stars and we would not hesitate to stay again, as there are interesting places to visit in the area.

Beautiful rural retreat with stunning views

CliveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked this accommodation at very short notice and Nikki very kindly prepared the place for our arrival. This place is unique in its quirkiness, we loved Nicki's taste in artwork surrounding the walls and the 100 plus books on the shelf. there is a little space where you can sit and look at the beautiful valley and the distant countryside environment. If you are not too tired to stargaze apparently the dark skies are worth waiting up for, on our visit there was a lot of cloud unfortunately. We have visited this area many times and never tire of the places and things to do and see, the accommodation is within easy reach of so many places of interest. It is important to plan the journey into the property, there is a short journey through some very tight lanes, however even though we did not follow instructions properly we did not meet any serious traffic.

R&R - Thatched cottage, summer hols availability

A gem of an AirBnB in peaceful, idyllic surroundings. We arrived later than planned but the self check-in process was a breeze. Our group was attending a local wedding, and from recommending taxi firms to listing the best sunday lunch pub grub in the area, our hosts were quick to reply and kind to offer their advice. The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and matched the listing exactly. If ever we find ourselves invited to another Yeovil wedding, we would not hesitate to re-book!

Peaceful eco-retreat in the Devon countryside

JasmineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had amazing stay at Axe Valley View for a long birthday weekend in June. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay with beautiful valley views. We especially loved how wildlife and eco-friendly it was, both inside and out. A short drive to Lyme Regis where we attended the Fossil Festival 2025 and great local hiking routes, including Golden Cap in Bridport. Alison was a lovely and welcoming host and we would highly recommend a visit.

Bluebell Grey, in the heart of rural Somerset.

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked a last minute mini break to Bluebell grey, enjoying visits to the beach during the day followed by relaxed evenings back at the cottage playing badminton and boules in the garden. As the evening light faded we settled down inside the cosy cottage with a gin and tonic or two playing cards around the table, feeling relaxed and comfortable. Thank you Michael for being so responsive with our last minute booking and for being so accommodating with an earlier check in time and equally relaxed with a later departure time. I will hold that lovely evening view across the fields in my memory. Thank you
