Monthly Rentals in Merligen

Great place to stay, nicely furnished and very cozy place, everything is new and tastefully decorated. Simone is very responsive, she answers the message quickly and always try to help out.

We loved our stay at Andrea’s place although we arrived in the dark and we weren’t sure which place was hers as we couldn’t find a number. Andrea was very responsive and we weren’t able to settle in quickly. We used the 3 sledges at the accommodation to do the sledge run from Eiger Glacier to Kleine Scheidegg. Such great fun. The apartment is exactly as photographed and very clean and well-equipped. We were also thankful for the lovely treats and bottle of red Andrea left for us. We didn’t really cook but the kitchen has everything that you need. The living/dining space is not large but was fine for our little family of 2 adults and 1 teen. There’s also a small table and chairs in the kitchen. There’s shower has excellent water pressure but it’s in the bath which is quite high and may be a struggle to gin and out of for those with mobility issues. We could easily walk to the train station or catch the number 62 bus and jump off at Doren which is very close to Andrea’s place

Katharina’s place turned out to be even better than the description. She made us feel right at home since before we even arrived. She was courteous enough to offer us an early check-in. Her kind nature combined with her proactiveness makes her a great host! As for the Airbnb itself, it is located at such a beautiful location close to Interlaken. The panorama city pass makes it very convenient to access the city. The kitchen was very well furnished with all basic amenities. We LOVED spending time in the front garden, which has a beautiful cherry blossom tree of its own Highly recommend Katharina’s place to everyone :)

COMMUNICATION: Miriam was very responsive, kind and clear in communication. We had all the necessary information around check-in (could check in a bit earlier), parking and received tourist cards in advance, that allowed us to use the local public transport for free. LOCATION: Cannot begin to describe how beautiful the views were. It was serene and quiet. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The pictures don't do justice to the views from the balcony. Easily (and preferably) accessible by car, with a short, but steep, climb to the apartment. Short walk to a bus stop that takes you to nearby cities. APARTMENT: Clean, well-stocked with toiletries and kitchen essentials. The bathrooms were neat, equipped with high quality fittings. Well-designed for a group of 4 (we were 2 couples). Would certainly recommend, and possibly come back for another stay. 5/5. :)
