Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Mercury Bay

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Paul’s place. Very spacious and homely with all the amenities we needed. It was close to the beach and Whitianga had some great restaurants. We met the hosts and their dog briefly who were lovely. Would highly recommend this place if you’re staying in Whitianga.

Absolutely loved our stay here - it's a stunning place with everything you need and amazing views! it's just a little walk down to the beach, or a 10 minute drive to driving creek railway which is well worth a visit when you're in the area. Judith was lovely and very clear with her instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful Airbnb is a home away from home. It is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing, wonderful stay. The photos do the home justice, and everything is as it appears to be. The outdoor space is delightful and the smallest of details have been carefully thought out. The space is a mix of Kiwi charm and Balinese culture. An absolute plus for us that we could bring our furbaby along, this is something I wish more Airbnb's did, so thank you Lynley, Dave and Wickett. The bathroom and bedroom were immaculately clean, and the shower is equally as good as ours as home (which is often hard to match). We have no doubt we'll be back at some point. Sincere thanks. :)

Sky House was perfect – stunning views, peaceful and homely. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Ideal for families, close to nature walks and beautiful bays. A serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The sunsets were unforgettable. Truly a magical spot we’ll definitely be back.

Suzy’s place is warm, cozy and inviting and just what we needed on the rainy days we had. The house is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the pizza oven despite less than ideal outdoor conditions. The photos don’t do the spaces justice! We loved our stay!

We had an awesome stay at James’ place over Easter. It was quiet, peaceful and relaxing, and James was such a friendly host. Would highly recommend staying here, we would love to come back again!

Large, simple and very lovely house in an excellent location. Perfect for hot water beach, cooks beach and of course hahei beach 5 mins walk down the road. Really handy for the best local shop in the area; plus great restaurants within walking distance. And Becs is a very lovely, kind and responsive host. We would definitely book again.

Fabulous house, spotless clean, everything you need for a short or long stay in Whitianga. The view is amazing from the house, it’s a lovely walk into town and a short drive to most of the tourist spots in the area, Clive is a great host, we would definitely recommend this property

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

We spent a wonderful couple of days at Julia's. It's such a gorgeous spot with lovely views. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Julia was so generous with all of the extra goodies in the fridge. We felt very spoilt. Tairua is a great place to explore the Coromandel from and has its own lovely beach and walks.

Great place to stay and friendly, welcoming host. Super comfortable and cosy and easy distance to everything. Nice a sunny with lots of natural light. Peaceful too. Will be back

We stayed 5 nights at Jennifer’s place and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Loved the view and outside seating areas. All very private and quiet. It is very well equipped although as a previous review stated it could have had a few little extras like handi towels, gladwrap, and shampoo. We would have no hesitation recommending Jennifer’s place and would happily stay again.

My husband, my friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was as described, situated conveniently near both the beach and town. Especially appreciated was a second bathroom. John responded promptly to a query or two and offered helpful suggestions. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay there again.

A lovely experience at Jacqui’s place. Exactly as described in the photos. Kitchen very well stocked with utensils, cooking equipment etc. Dedicated parking near the unit. As we were there in May we didn’t use the pool. A short drive to the numerous shops and restaurants. A lovely beach that would be popular in the warmer months. Would recommend staying here.

This is a perfect place to live while you travel to coromendal. Great sea view on the top floor. The landlord is very nice and respond in a timely manner. Very recommend to live there.

Alan was great- he was very considerate with our check in time and although we stayed only for one night, he was brilliant with communication.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Beach. Easy walk to restaurant and beach very peaceful and friendly. Would come again.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
