Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mendrisio District

Ein Haus für Naturliebhaber. Mitten im Wald mit grossem privaten Garten. Man hat ums Haus viele Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Es ist einfach aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die einzelnen Stockwerke sind jeweils über eine Aussentreppe zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Ruheoase sehr genossen.

Die Casa Sarina ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen und hat einen traumhaften Blick über den Luganer See. Im Dörfchen Carona gibt es einen kleinen Kiosk, der alles für den täglichen Bedarf zur Verfügung stellt. Für größere Einkäufe muss man allerdings über die Serpentinenstraße ins Tal fahren. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man entweder direkt zu Fuß loslaufen oder nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem Auto herrliche Spaziergänge durch Vico Morcote bis nach Morcote bzw. auf den Monte San Salvatore machen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wie durch den Vermieter beschrieben. Markus und Anna sind sehr liebevolle Gastgeber und haben uns mit vielen Tipps den Aufenthalt bereichert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkuft wählen.

Das Haus ist ein Traum mit vielen Terassen, viel Platz und perfektem Internet ;) Die Sonne scheint den ganzen Tag auf die Terassen und der Ausblick über den Lago di Lugano ist sowohl am Tag wie auch in der nacht fantastisch! Guja ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und ihren Gästen äusserst zugewandt. Die Gastgeber:innen haben beim Einrichten an alles gedacht!!

Bobby’s place is in a unique, gorgeous location with a great view. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very well equipped and Bobby clearly made an effort to make us feel welcome.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au chalet, qui est parfaitement équipé et avec un électroménager récent, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très confortable. L'endroit est propre et se situe au calme en pleine forêt, idéal pour se ressourcer en famille. Le charme du lieu, combiné à son ambiance chaleureuse, a été particulièrement apprécié par nos enfants. Seul petit bémol : l'accès pour transporter les bagages est un peu difficile du fait du dénivelé mais cela reste un détail face à la qualité de l'expérience globale.

Manon fue muy amable desde el mismo momento de la reserva y también estuvo pendiente de cualquier cosas que necesitásemos durante nuestra estancia. La casa es tal como se muestra en el anuncio, las camas son muy cómodas, la cocina está completamente equipada y tienes todo cuanto necesitas. El entorno es muy agradable e ideal para hacer rutas en las inmediaciones y es una gran ventaja contar con el aparcamiento en la entrada de la casa.

Regina & Pino zijn heel vriendelijk mensen, we voelde ons thuis in hun accommodatie! We konden bij hun terecht met onze vragen en ze gaven veel tips! Ideaal verblijf met ons klein kindje en niet ver van de omliggende bezienswaardigheden. We raden dit verblijf zeker aan!

Für den angedachten Zweck (arbeiten) war die Unterkunft perfekt. Liebe, unkomplizierte Gastgeber, absolut empfehlenswert!! Etwas bedauerlich, dass das Haus vom Standort her praktisch den ganzen Tag im Schatten liegt (wir hatten 2 Wochen Dauer-Sonnenschein). Im Sommer dürfte dies aber sehr attraktiv sein.

We spent 1 month in this fantastic place & already miss the stunning views! We’re retired nomads in our 70’s, been on the road for 3 years now & Bruno’s place was the best of all the hundreds of stays in that time! We received such a warm welcome from Bruno & Maria Louisa, we felt right at home there. The kitchen is super well equipped-we even made fondue! The town nearby has great restaurants too. We loved hiking right out the door & up the hill for a panoramic view. We even walked over to Italy for the Saturday market just over the border. Spacious & clean, a wonderful time. Thank-you Bruno & Maria Louisa!

I have been staying at B&Bs for a while now and this is probably my best experience. The house is lovely and we’ll cared for, the place was spotless and well organized. As it rained, we stayed a lot in and cooked a lot. That was unfortunate because they have a lovely deck with chairs and view in the lake. We were lucky to find parking all the time. To access the house there are some sets of stairs so better pack light.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, liegt in einer ruhigen Lage und ist gut mit dem Bus erreichbar. Die Wohnung hat alles was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Roberto antwortet schnell auf Nachrichten. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

wir hatten einen schönen Langzeit-Urlaub und waren sehr zufrieden. Maria-Luise ist eine sehr liebenswerte Person. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Wir hatten alles was man braucht uns wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen. Wir konnten sogar Raclettegeschirr und Fonduegeschirr ausleihen und die Wohnung war sehr gut geheizt. Alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Keller für Fahrräder war auch vorhanden, nur wenige Minuten bis zum See und auch zur stelleBushalte

Beautiful, exceptionally well-appointed apartment with absolutely stunning views over Lake Lugano. Even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures, with a lush, tropical garden, a perfect lawn, and huge terrace. Adrian was a very responsive host, and we had everything we needed and more for a lovely stay. Plentiful towels and clean sheets, a relaxing hot tub, and comfortable, stylish furniture. The lake properties provide direct access to the water and are beautiful and tranquil. Just a word of caution to dog owners and families with small children that the road between the main property and the lake can be dangerous, with no sidewalk and fast driving cars. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing break from the city.

Martina is very kindly, helpful and responds quickly to questions. We were her first guests and we had a fantastic time. The house is very complete and comfortable with a splendid view on the Lake of Lugano and the city. This house is for people who love comfort and tranquility. We will definitely come back. Wenn man Ruhe braucht, ist es mega. Sehr rustikal und speziell. Uns hat es sehr Spass gemacht. Vielleicht nicht für Jedermann, weil es etwas Eigenverantwortung braucht und man sollte schon ein Naturmensch sein, der sich geschickt anstellt. Traumhafte lage und Wandermöglichkeiten vor der Tür. Sehr gute Preisleistungsverhältnis und der Kontakt mit den Besitzern war immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und interessiert.

The place was beautiful and the location completely peaceful and in nature. We were a group of 5 people and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the chalet. We cooked meals there, played boardgames. It was a really nice experience and Eveline was so friendly to correspond with - answering all my questions. The only thing I will say about the place (that shouldn't deter you from booking) is that it is a 30-40 min climb up. So if you are doing the climb with provisions and you have a heavy pack, it can take longer and require quite a good level of fitness. Also, another tip is to try and reach the chalet in the day. We did the climb in the rain, approaching twilight and the chalet was hard to spot (low light). You can opt for a helicopter which is affordable. We plan to come back over summer and use the helicopter for all our heavy stuff!

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Rustico in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Leider hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter, aber vom Haus aus kann man tolle Wanderungen unternehmen. Merci an Fabio und Bernadette für die Gastfreundschaft.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mitten im Wald – absolut empfehlenswert! Alois hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und war jederzeit hilfsbereit. Er hat uns alle wichtigen Infos gegeben, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und ideal, um abzuschalten und die Natur zu geniessen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

Casa di montagna immersa nella natura con vista mozzafiato che, da sola, vale il prezzo richiesto per il soggiorno. L’abitazione è spaziosa (noi eravamo in 5 adulti) e ha tutto l’occorrente per un soggiorno tranquillo e piacevole. I due camini a legna disponibili sono più che sufficienti per scaldare gli spazi in breve tempo e regalano un’atmosfera senza tempo. Mario é un host straordinario: reattivo, gentilissimo e disponibile. Le indicazioni e le istruzioni che ci ha fornito sulle diverse strade per raggiungere l’abitazione sono state chiare, reali e utili. In breve: consiglio a tutti di soggiornare nella casa di Mario, non ne resterete delusi!!

Nous avons été très bien accueillies par Maruska. Le hameau de Piantürin est plein de charme, retiré et très tranquille, avec plusieurs départs de randonnées possibles. Superbe expérience malgré une mauvaise météo, très bon rapport qualité-prix… Nous reviendrons! Merci Maruska.
