This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Deena’s place is packed with charm. From the soft colors throughout to the open and welcoming outdoor patio. There is plenty of room to stretch out on the patio and the colors from spring through fall are everywhere. It is located as centrally as anywhere in Turkey Texas. It is just a couple of minutes from Friday and Saturday night music and drinks and other great places to eat and shop. There will be flyers in the house for viewing.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. We love the beautiful views of ranch fields and livestock and it is located in the country. The cottage is pet friendly with a lovely fenced porch with a secure gate. It is quiet, clean, comfortable, and is easy to access from I-40. Would highly recommend. The owner is always quick to respond.

The entire location is well maintained. David and his wife are very friendly and always accessible. This in a remote location close to Lake, McKenzie and not far from Camp rock Canyon. A great place to stay if you’re recreating in the area. This is my second time to stay here and I enjoyed both stays.

Very good description of the campsite. Clean and all the hookups worked perfectly. Site 4 was a little tight turning the corner getting into it. Once in we had plenty of room.
