My family and I enjoyed our stay at Jean-Rene's house which was well equipped with everything you needed. Jean-Rene was very easy to contact and was quick to respond. He gave many recommendations of places to eat and sites to visit. The natural elephant statues in the forest were amazing, the forest is just a short walk from the house. This was our first visit to Barbizon, the house is perfectly located near to the centre of the village which is a delight to walk through.

We are delighted with our stay in Maincy, a charming, quiet village. The accommodation is simply perfect, furnished and tastefully decorated, comfortable and perfectly clean. We strongly recommend!

I came to find a quiet break, I was delighted! The space is extremely quiet. Simple decoration mixing ancient and modern ♥️ The room is bathed in light in the morning. Many walks to do nearby.

Great place for a small family. You can easily get grocery operate the location and cook your own delicacies. The Franprix opposite the location closes at 9pm. Great experience. Transportation: Walkable train station, easy access to Notre Dame and the Eiffel

Iris & Stephane are very communicative and helpful hosts. The apartment is like walking onto a movie set - a real experience! It is more spacious than expected, with gorgeous views of the park and in a great location - walking distance to many bistros, wine bars, shops, etc. The kitchen is well appointed and Iris & Stephane provided some lovely flowers, fresh fruit and champagne on arrival. There is a beautiful claw foot tub and basin in the bedroom, which makes up for the small boat style shower/toilet. My husband and I had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. I advise people to book their weekend stay, even long term, at Thomas's. The neighborhood is very good, with lots of shops next door, plus transportation. The accommodation is very very clean. Thomas is very kind and very attentive and always responds to the needs of his guests. I will gladly return.

We visited Nicolas’s space on our honeymoon! The apartment was perfect. The view was incredible. Nicolas provided an abundance of both local and nonlocal recommendations. I wish we had time to explore all of them. The few that we did try, he was on point, he knows good food. You can’t beat the location. We walked to Montmartre, Galeries Lafayette, The Lourve, The Eiffel Tower, etc. it’s not far to get to the metro either. You have everything you would need to cook a meal and there’s a mini supermarket right around the corner. The views at night are worth the price. We will be back!
