Sandhornøy has a rich wildlife and just outside the lake house you can experience moose, deer, hares, otters, eagles and grouse. In the summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the aurora borealis. There are great hiking trails and the possibility of a summit tour.

If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you would need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad you have panoramic views to the nature elements from the inside.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. We are rented out a new and great apartment in a unique natural area with views of Tjongsfjorden and as a starting point for fishing trips and hikes in the fields and mountains! You can borrow a boat from us and use our barbecue cabin, the possibility to fillet fish is on site. We are registered tourist fishing business. Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and tranquil surroundings with views of the fjord and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" located just below the cottage. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine hiking in Glomfjord, walking on Svartisen, skiing in the Meløy Alps, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more.
