Formerly a granary, but housing since 1946, and has retained some of the original character. Equipped for simple cooking, with a stove. Refrigerator and freezer. If you are lucky you can also experience cruise ships, royal ships and large sailing ships, passing by. Sandhornøy has a rich wildlife and just outside the lake house you can experience both moose, deer, hare, otter, eagle and grouse. In summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the Northern Lights. There are great hiking trails and the possibility for mountain hikes.

Stay in a newly renovated school

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The home is located in idyllic Storvik, directly by the 1.5 km long Storvik beach and only 50 m from the sea. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain trips, paddling, swimming or cycling. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad, you have panoramic views of the natural elements from the inside.

Cabin on the beautiful Helgeland coast, Kystriksveien.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer and winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine slope in Glomfjord, glacier hiking on Svartisen, skiing in Meløyalpene, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more. Large cabin with a lovely view, boat and sauna

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down to the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14-foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new as of July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

The cabin is located about 30 km from Ørnes and Inndyr which is the nearest center. Nearest grocery store 15 km. Road up to the door. The kitchen is well equipped. Dining area for 6. 1 large bedroom with double bed, 1 with 120 cm bed + 1 with 120 + 90 cm bunk bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Bed linen, towels, soap or shampoo are NOT rented.

Here you can experience the Svartisen glacier, two national parks, mountains for both winter and summer use and a fantastic archipelago with several inhabited islands. The apartment is located 9 km from the municipal center Ørnes, and it is 11 km to the industrial town Glomfjord. We offer a patio with a fire pit and a large garden to enjoy.
