This hotel from the moment you enter it’s definitely a nice space and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Check in is at 2pm onwards when I arrived it was only 12:30pm and my room was ready and no problem checking in early which was great after a long drive from Sydney. The rooms are furnished very well and the bed and pillow selection was amazing. The rooms are so private and sound proof. I can’t actually wait to stay again and the facilities are amazing too. The secure car parking is also a plus. Thanks again for making my stay memorable. Have no hesitation recommending this hotel to family, friends and business associates. Thanks again…!

Very clean room - Very responsive and friendly host - Perfectly clean bathroom - Public transport next door - only bemol, the reasoning / music that is inevitably heard below. The rooms are above a PUB, which is stipulated in the advertisement. It's up to you if this can be a drag on your sleep. For our part, we don't regret it!

Perfect location. Right in the CBD and has lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Gym downstairs is nice and quiet. The maintenance and cleaning staff were great. Only issues were the WiFi and noise outside. The WiFi didn’t work at all or was very slow which was really inconvenient. We weren’t informed about the works and construction outside until after we had booked.

This review isn't exactly a fair review of Punthill South Yarra as due to a gas maintenance issue we were relocated to Punthill Flinders Lane. Therefore what I describe is more with regards to the Flinders Punthill. The place was overall very good but didn't enjoy the location and the room (obviously) wasn't exactly what I signed up for. Then again the gas issue was unexpected and I really appreciate that they found my family and I lodging in the heart of the city for the same price! I'm sure Punthill South Yarra would've been an amazing place and Punthill Flinders was good too! just that the room was a bit less nice and the loud busy streets don't exactly help with sleep.

great value for money. beds are firm (I prefer medium) but was just as comfy as $450 p/n hotels. easy check in, friendly staff all round(extra points for this one). room service provided unlike some other airbnb I've stayed at in Melb. place a tad outdated but I don't care about those things as this trip we only used the room to rest up, shower and sleep. I'd personally not hire if I were looking at cooking.
