House vacation rentals in Melbourne

We had a lovely stay at Nafis’s place! This accommodation is especially great for families – Nafis thoughtfully provided a bassinet, cot, and high chair, which made our stay so much easier and more comfortable with young children. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed, quiet getaway surrounded by nature. We enjoyed peaceful walks along the Yarra River and loved being so close to the Heide Museum of Modern Art – a beautiful spot for art and garden lovers alike. Nafis was an excellent host, very accommodating with our request for an earlier check-in and incredibly responsive and friendly when we needed to make changes to our booking.

Stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. Easy check in, stocked with essentials and kangaroos come out at night!! We loved it there and felt right at home.

Beautiful modern and clean townhouse with everything required for a pleasant stay. The location is handy as it's only a 20min drive to the CBD, zoo etc. The only downside is the traffic noise as it's on a busy road. Not so bad on public holidays but pretty average on business days. Place could do with double glazed glass on the upstairs bedroom to reduce noise. However overall it's a great, comfortable stay. thank you to the owner.

Highly recommend a stay here. Beds were comfortable. Location was awesome and everything and anything you could possibly need was in the townhouse. Elliot even bought us a travel cot to use when he realised we had a baby with us. Will definitely be looking to stay here again when returning to Melbourne if it’s available.

Extremely well kept home. Felt very comfortable. Parking in the garage was a plus, never had to give a 2nd thought to street parking. Walkable to local cafes and easy to get into city. Definitely recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure to be hosted by Melanie at her gorgeous home! We had a brilliant stay and loved the neighbourhood. It was close enough to walk into town and to local pubs, cafes etc. The home was immaculate and luxurious with lots of exotic touches. We really appreciated the extras that Melanie provided, i.e. quality bathroom products, and a well set up kitchen. Also Melanie owns an amazing restaurant, Grain Store in Flinders Lane, which we visited twice during our stay.. highly recommended! We loved our visit and will be back!

1/2 block from a small park and many shops and restaraunts in Centreway. Paeceful!

This is the perfect place if you're looking for a pleasant, semi rural location for a medium short or even a long stay. Alieh is the perfect host and the flat itself has everything you need. We were 2 Brits coming to OZ for a year and needed somewhere to stay for a month while finding out feet. This worked beautifully for us. The location is slightly out of the way which for us was fine as we could come back to our haven after job hunting and football training. Alieh was brilliant to deal with and took us under her wing. You cannot go wrong al Alieh's lovely place, thank you

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

We stayed at Ivys place for 24 days and it was perfect. As a family with 2 young kids, having a pool was ideal. It was very clean inside and welcoming. Ivy was very accomdating as we came to Australia for our best friends wedding, and allowed the groom to stay the night before the wedding. Ivy was very responsive. The house is in a lovely area and the kids were gutted when we had to leave. Would definately stay again and highly recommend x

Saeed's property was as described. Inside the house, there was ample space to relax and unwind. The house was clean and tidy and the BBQ was prepped and ready for use. The pool area was also clean and easy to access. The internal central heating worked really quickly when the night became cold. The house was set up with a swing, hammock, fooseball table as well as a few other games. Saeed was a helpful and responsive host, willing to accommodate us. I would mention that it is one large house on the property, separating guests from Saeed's family by an internal locked door (so noise could be heard from the other side of the door). The pool can also be seen from the entire house, so if you wanted privacy, this is probably not the accommodation for you.

Our stay was blissful! Incredible place, fantastic views and hosts everything you need - even complementary breakfast hamper! Love the location. Saw kangaroos grazing in the morning and various wildlife. Decor was on point complementing the stonework and great build! Will 100% come back… Jacqui was an incredible host, thank you!

We really enjoyed our short stay for a few days out of Melbourne. Lovely location just walking distance from a pub that had delicious meals. Was perfect for the wind down we needed. Excellent quality bedding making it very comfortable stay. The breakfast goods and freshly baked bread was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The owners were very responsive and considerate. Highly recommended.

Chris was very helpful and even offered to help out with transportation options ie gave our party his Ute to use for road trips as he felt sorry for us given the f1 was cancelled. The home was tidy and comfortable and is in an amazing spot for the F1. We hope to come back next year ! (COVID-19 free)

A lovely stay and great location! Close to public transport, restaurants and cafes. This Airbnb was clean and tidy and large enough to accommodate a group comfortably. We appreciated that the kitchen had useful utensils (peelers, good knives etc) making food prep at home easy when needed. The outdoor space was lovely to enjoy the nice Melbourne weather. Charlotte was very responsive and provided good, clear instructions. Thanks for a lovely stay! :)

We have just stayed in Matthew's property with 3 teenagers. The home is very modern and clean with lots of natural light. Very private and secure with off street parking which was a bonus. The property was exactly as described - the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. Beds were super comfortable. Good supply of local cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy train & tram access to the City and surrounds. Matthew was a very responsive host and gave clear communication. Flexibility with checking in and out was greatly appreciated. We would recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The place is even more beautiful in person. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Charlotte was really helpful leading up and during our stay, recording cafes to try out. Overall a wonderful experience and will be back to stay again next year for F1.

We had a wonderful time at this air b n b! The perfect place for our group of 10 to stay for a wedding. The view is spectacular, we were very sad to leave.

We loved our stay at Ivy Street. It had all the amenities we could need & we loved the 2 separate living areas, which allowed everyone to relax in their own space. It was clean, spacious & peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.
