Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

(parties prohibited) Quiet house, located 800 m from the village of Saint Jean de Maruéjols where you have everything at your fingertips, (restaurant, local producers nearby, artisanal butcher, artisanal delicatessen, artisanal bakery, grocery store, etc...). There's loads to discover with the different seasons. There are plenty of places to visit (village that is 15 minutes from the Ardèche) Lots of beautiful rivers a few kilometers away.

Come and discover this haven of peace in the Cèze valley near the Ardèche. The spacious cottage was created in an old building on the edge of a typical village on the heights in the Cèze Valley. The Provençal style has been preserved. The rooms are bright and the volumes under the ramp are pleasant! The 4x9 m shared pool is set back from the accommodation and offers beautiful views of the Cèze Valley. Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails with river access.

Plenty of activities nearby: hiking, swimming, canoeing, local markets and caves. Quiet setting with unspoiled natural surroundings. Well-behaved dogs welcome :)

Located in La Lèque, one of the hamlets of Lussan, a village ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, "La Lussanaise" is our 18th century stone house. On the ground floor, in the old sheepfolds, we created our "Lavande" cottage with its magnificent vaulted bedroom. This "homestay" accommodation is inspired by the spirit of bed and breakfasts while offering the independence of a gîte with its own dining area and kitchenette.
