Situated atop a moraine—which came to a halt at this very spot during the Ice Age—the property offers a magnificent panoramic view across the countryside and the River Eider. It is located directly adjacent to a water-skiing area, a swimming beach, and a marina for motorboats and sailboats, all within a charming little village.

The apartment is located in a listed thatched house built around 1830 in the attic. It can accommodate 4 people on two levels in a stylish ambiance in the immediate vicinity of Friedrichstadt, the rivers Treene and Eider with swimming areas and the North Sea. The seaside resort of Sankt Peter Ording is about 40 km away. A beach chair can be used there free of charge. The house is located on a large property and invites you to relax with the view of the green meadows.

Canoe station, Nettomarkt (new in Ort) 8, baker and butcher 4 minutes' walk away. Edeka, ALDI, LIDL 6 km. Free bicycle storage is available. In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.

The house, with about 140 m2 of living space and an antique fireplace, is available for guests for their own use. From here, you can take many excursions to the North Sea (Büsum 30 and Speichererkoog in Meldorf 20 minutes by car, ...).
