Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private double bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A comfy queen-size bed and quality linen + bathroom and kitchenette + Hot shower, mini-fridge, and mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay. Yurt with beautiful views in rural location

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

Casa Mont'Santo

Casa Mont'Santo is a rustic and secular house, with Jewish features and located in the most Portuguese village in Portugal. From the house, we highlight a panoramic balcony and a fantastic terrace with barbecue, from which we enjoy a stunning view of the village and the immensity of the landscape. These two spaces lead us to contemplation and peace, close to nature. The chirping of birds and the rest of the flora, compel us to forget the routine and bring us to other times!

If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). Uma casa lindíssima do século xv situada no poente de Monsanto com vistas espetaculares.Muito sossego e calma. Design arriscado com penedos enormes à vista, decorada com objectos antigos de Monsanto. Tentaremos manter uma ligação com os hóspedes em termos de máxima hospitalidade mas com respeito pela privacidade. É servido um pequeno almoço frugal incluído no preço.

Stairway to Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).
