Oomwoc Cottage

Wonderful little place to stay! Hot tub in its own outdoor room so perfect for any weather! My 2yo loved all the highland cow decor, and the 2nd bedroom was cosy and safe for her being off the main bedroom. Close to several seaside towns, and only 30 mins from the deep, so a good location for kids any weather! Lovely stay!
A patio area is visible through open glass doors, featuring a circular table and four chairs. Lush greenery and fields are seen beyond the patio, framed by wooden fencing. Natural light fills the space, enhancing the serene view.

We like to walk our dogs along river bank. Also the field in front of house has lots of wildlife to watch. Easy to reach Beverley where our elderly relatives live .
A well-maintained garden area features a wooden gazebo alongside a grassy space. Four chairs, including a lightweight white table in the center, provide a comfortable seating arrangement. Lush foliage and colorful plants create a serene natural setting, inviting relaxation.

Old Post Office , peaceful heritage cottage

JonRating, 5 stars11 months ago
This is a lovely cottage, which used to be the village Post Office and shop, set in a very tranquil rural setting but very easy to access for Hull and many places of interest on the East Coast - Hornsea 20 minute drive, Spurn Point 45 minutes. Sue was a very good host who was extremely helpful and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole cottage was very comfortable. There is access to a garden space with seating. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage if you are visiting Hull or the East Coast; we will definitely return.

Couldn’t recommend Catherine’s place and her hospitality any higher. From the original booking earlier this year until arrival she was giving helpful tips and advising me of all the ongoing events over the weekend. We will definitely be back again and cannot wait for our next trip! Thanks again

Close to centre and uni, includes evening meal (1)

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I've occasionally stayed at Airbnbs that provided breakfast, but this is the first one that provided a lovely home-cooked vegetarian (usually) dinner every night as well. The best part is that we all ate dinner together and conversed for about an hour or so about everything ranging from politics to sports. Now, I understand that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I just loved it. Solo traveling gets lonely sometimes. The bedroom was bright (by Hull standards :) ) and warm. The bed has a foam mattress and clean sheets each week. There was a desk, plenty of outlets, and a couch. Wifi is decent. There's an extra toilet downstairs, which helps with the occasional traffic jam in the upstairs bathroom, which all residents share. Shower water is plentiful and hot with occasional irregularities due to dishes or laundry, I assume. Guests can use the washing machine (which was replaced during my visit). 15 minute walk to grocery stores, 5 minute walk to bus stop, 30 minute bus to Hull.
