House vacation rentals in McLaren Vale

We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. My daughters and I felt right at home, and even our dog, Loki, had the best time exploring the yard and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some quality time together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family- and pet-friendly getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay here and would so do it again! Great location, very clean management of the property, great conditions even if it’s a pet friendly accommodation! My dogs absolutely loved staying here also, short drive to town markets and fabulous view! Thank you for having us 🤍

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

Had a great weekend in Glenelg for a friend's 60th. Short walk to Jetty road and the Marina for a multitude of dining choices. The home was comfortable and tidy. We were able to cook breakfast on the BBQ and for tea were able to use the kitchen for our seafood banquet. Due to it being such a cold weekend were unable to use the pool hut would expect it would be a great bonus for summer days. Loved watching the planes coming in over the ocean. We were a group of 6 adults.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. We loved our stay. We spent lots of time with our kids in front of the fire and exploring the property. The stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed exploring for kangaroos, koalas and possums.

Karena’s place is amazing. The beach views are beautiful and complemented by the stunning design features of the house. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is stocked with everything you need. Karena is a lovely host. Highly recommend this house for a luxury beach stay close to Adelaide!

Amazing property right in the middle of the main street, however still very quiet. Property is very well set up with all the ammenities one requires. Highly recommend and i’ll certainly be back next time I visit

A beautiful space. Super clean and cozy all around. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was soft and warm. The couches were large and a great area for relaxing, especially with the fireplace going. It felt really private and peaceful, which made the stay even better. The heated floors in the bathroom were such a nice touch. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the space.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Sweet Olive, couldn’t have asked for a better place for a relaxing girls weekend away. We will definitely be back. We can’t wait for next time. Thank you

My friends and I (group of 6 people) really enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday. The space was beautifully curated and super comfortable with lots of spaces for us to sit and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, as well as having plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We also found it close to the vineyards and the gorgeous beach. We will definitely be back!

This house will keep you thinking about its design and aesthetic. It’s so clever, beautiful and usable. It’s worth the stay just to experience it really. But the stay is so much more. Everything is surgically clean and rabbit burrow cozy. For a summer house it makes a winning winter destination. I honestly wish I hadn’t given 5 stars to other places because this earned it like no other. Thank you.

I wish we stayed stayed longer! what a beautiful B&B Natalie has created. We loved all the thoughtful touches and the beautiful surroundings. The place was absolutely spotless and the bed is extremely comfortable. our pups loved roaming around and even they seem extremely relaxed. the perfect getaway! we can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful period Australian home. The house is exactly as photographed—charming, stylish, and decorated by the owner with a warm, country-style flair straight out of a magazine. The host was exceptionally responsive and thoughtful, with lovely touches like Easter chocolates and a generous welcome package. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the high street with great coffee and a local grocer. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in McLaren Vale. The location was perfect – right by the walking track, we loved our morning strolls to get a coffee. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated with a warm and welcoming feel. Everything we needed was provided, and the amenities were top-notch. A lovely surprise was the welcome pack filled with delicious local produce – such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly at home. We stayed here for a work trip and it was exceptional. The house was in excellent condition, comfortable and a great place to relax after a busy day workshopping with the team. We would highly recommend staying here again. SA Stays were a great host and were very responsive with any questions we had leading up to the trip. With different team members staying in one house it was great having the extra space where everyone could have some alone time if it was needed. Having enough bedrooms to cater for everyone was a big hit. Definitely a must stay for anyone heading to Aldinga in a larger group. 5-stars!

Lovely stay The okiyu house added something special to our weekend in Port Willunga. It’s japanese architecture, exceptional fitout and designer appointments made it a delight to be in. It felt spacious and private, lovely outlook over a paddock and a pleasant short walk to the beach. The host was very helpful with advice to help make our stay the best.

Adam and Annie were the most amazing hosts, so responsive and attentive during my stay. Their place was so beautiful as well, very clean and exactly like the pictures. I will be returning soon!!
