Terra Firma - 1850s Floral Cottage

Take a step back in time. Built in 1850, this cottage was once occupied by the very Caffreys after whom our street is named. The cottage is structurally identical to how those European settlers would have inhabited it. The thick walls are fantastic for keeping both the summer heat and winter cold out. Workers, holiday-makers, and day-trippers have come through this place, each having left their own little mark. And hopefully, the soul of this place will make a bit of an imprint on you too.

Surrounded by vineyards, it's a five minute drive to the historic township of Willunga, ten minutes to the renowned wine area of McLaren Vale, or a ten minute drive to some of the best beaches in Australia, making The WineMaker’s Cottage the perfect location for your stay. You will be spoilt for choice with all that is on your doorstep.

Bundaleer Cottage B&B (one or two bedrooms)

Established in 2018, situated amongst the gum trees in the McLaren Vale Wine Region Bundaleer Cottage is a wonderful place to stay for special occasions. Set for one or two couples, it features a beautiful rural outlook onto vineyards and a small forest. The front veranda looks onto the gum trees of the Heritage Beltunga Homestead. We have very good access for wheelchairs. We are also pet friendly on request. If requiring both bedrooms, a service fee will apply for the second bedroom.

The original homestead circa 1860 began its life as the towns doctors' residence. The Secret Garden Cottage is an amazing 1880s cottage set amongst a magical garden. With two bedrooms, dining room, and huge lounge room with 85inch TV this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It's a short walk to the main road, many popular cafes and Serafinos making it the perfect location to base yourselves as you explore the region. Also available to book on the property is the Secret Garden Studio. You may see other guests from time to time but each have separate areas.

Maunder Cottage Aldinga Township

We recognize the Kaurna people whose land holds our little cottage. Situated in Aldinga Township Maunder Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage that is self contained. It has one bedroom with Queen size bed. It has a fully renovated bathroom with a deep bath suitable for two people. The walls in the lounge room are made from limestone dug from the property. The building itself used to be the vets. We live in the house adjacent to the cottage. Our home was built in 1842.

Silver Sands Sanctuary is a little bit of Byron Bay with a Boho feel with rustic and modern mixed together. We are situated behind the Esplanade main home abutting the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park. It's all about Location mixed with luxury with a stroll to this stunning beach. 10% discount for weekly and 20% for monthly bookings.
