I spent 10 days at Cythina and Ben’s place that worked perfectly for my reason to be there, which is to rest and integrate. It was my first time staying in the jungle so took me sometime to get used to the environment including Amazon-style cold showers, which actually helped further release my fear after my ayahuasca retreat. Ben is very helpful and caring that made my stay more smoothly. Gaia is absolutely sweet! The location is away from the city, about 40 mins by motorbike, for those who enjoy nature and time away from the city. Bus is convenient to get you there. You may meet the frog Snoopy who lives in the bathroom, who is like a guardian of the land. Another thing is that the nearby market has a limited selection, which it’s about 15 mins walk for me. If you like this type of environment, this is the place for you! I am grateful for this beautiful place that Cynthia and Ben created, keep up with the great work! I wish you all the best. :)

Place is very clean, it has a well equipped kitchen, it’s very spacious and lots of cabinet space throughout. Álvaro was very responsive and flexible with our arriving and departing schedule, attentive throughout our stay and would highly recommend. Location is very close to main square.

Great value, nice host. Very clean and well equipped apartment. Location is far from the centre but it was nice to see a different neighbourhood, and moto taxis are very cheap and always available.
