The view, accommodations and privacy was worth it! Reasonably priced and available for our last minute booking. Easy drive, not far from the freeway or downtown Wytheville. With all of the hotels in the area I was very pleased to stay here instead. The apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. The area was quiet and private. The view of the rolling hills and mountains in the distance was beautiful. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a GREAT stay!!! I’m from the area and came home to visit - was looking for a nicely located “base” and it was perfect. Will absolutely be keeping this in mind for more trips home. Even forgot a bag upon check out and was contacted promptly so that I could return and grab it.

We only spent one night at Beth’s place while traveling through Virginia, but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area. The suite is really spacious, very comfortable and clean, and has incredible views and surroundings. It was perfect for two adults and two dogs. Beth herself is a wonderful and responsive host.
A wraparound porch features multiple wooden rocking chairs positioned for relaxation. A small table stands nearby, while a bench along the railing provides additional seating. The natural wood finish enhances the rustic feel, and greenery is visible through the screens, creating a connected outdoor atmosphere.

This place felt like heaven on earth! We travelled from California and after a very long travel day, this was exactly what we needed. The property is very well maintained and I loved all the small details to make yourself feel at home. From the phone chargers and white noise machine in the bedroom to the most beautiful view of the lake and outdoor seating areas. We had the best time and didnt want to leave! We sat outside and could see fish jumping, bbq an amazing dinner and experienced an amazing thunderstorm. It was the perfect getaway for a family vacation!

Near New River Trail Park, a real Log Cabin

The cabin was a perfect stay for us and our pup! She enjoyed the wide yard and the cozy fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the water pressure on the shower was excellent! The bed had the softest sheets I have ever felt so I had to peek at the label to get some of my own! The cabin is only about a 30 minute drive from some great breweries, and close to Wytheville where there is great food, beer, and shopping. We even drove by the Graham mansion that runs a scare house in the Fall! The copious brochures were helpful in planning our day and there were multiple spots on the property where we snapped photos. The property is close to the road but you wouldn't know it! We loved it!
